  1. Looks good. Not an easy one to pull off and make look this good.
  2. Got one entire side of decals completed along with scratchbuilding the rear spoiler. It is lightly tacked in place and will be coming back off for painting.
  3. Update on the paint scheme. Starting to take shape.
  4. Really nice build.
  5. More updates. Cut the doors and after making sure that all of my clearances were good I've started on the paint.
  6. As I mentioned above this is a body that I mastered for resin casting. I make all of my own bodies. Here is what the resin version looks like.
  7. Starting off the new year with a brand new project build. I've been working on the master for my 70.5 Pro Mod Camaro for quite a while now and finally finished it and got the mold created. Now I can get started on a build using the master as the main part of the build. I've also had a spare 3d chassis that is designed for a 68 Camaro body but almost fits perfectly inside the 70.5. I will have to make a few small adjustments but for the most part it's perfect. I started by cutting the hood opening for the blower/blower scoop and then cut the front end off. Eventually the doors will be removed but I'm keeping them in place the time being. The yellow paint is only there for the sake of giving the body a smooth finish for casting. It will have a totally different paint scheme. I will also be seeing how many of my own resin parts that I can utilize in the build.
  8. I've got one with no issues. I also have quite a few of the other kits and have not seen any evidence of warped bodies.
  9. Finished another build. Used an AMT COT kit along with decals from Stoney's Decals. Lowered the stance and doubled up the decals.
  10. Awesome job. Every detail looks spot on.
  11. Really nice build, Jim.
  12. Like I mentioned, one more to add.
  13. That's just mean and nasty looking. Great job!
  14. Good looking builds, all of them.
  15. Another completed build for 2017. This is the Bud Faubel Honker 65 Dodge AFX hardtop. It is a build that I started on almost 3 years ago and have finally been able to put it to rest. It's a mixture of resin, parts box pieces and old PDP decals. It's kind of a combination of nostalgia and modern resto.. I forget who made the resin body as I've had it for many years. The engine is a combo. of resin, kit based parts and Detail Master injector stacks. The exhaust is hand made using solder and aluminum tubing. It's done for the most part although I am waiting for some photo etch hood pins to arrive and there is the possibility of adding more detail in the future if I choose.
  16. Really cool, nicely done builds.
  17. Thanks guys. I might have to ammend this post as I'm getting close to completing one other long term project.
  18. It's because your check engine light is on.
  19. Superb looking builds.
  20. Well, if you're only going to complete one build for the year it might as well be one that looks that great. Very nice build; love the finish.
  21. Nice job on all of them.
  22. Here's the best that I've got. The setup is from a Tamiya Johnny Player Special Formula One kit.
  23. Awesome job. Love all of the extra added detail.
  24. Very nice build. Never have seen these decals available before.
