  1. I am currently working on a website. In the meantime, any of my items for sale can be found on Ebay, under username Modelfest. The blower hats, shown above, are currently active auctions. The hood scoops are in the casting process and should be available within the next week. The Janis blower hat will be a bit longer before it's ready. I also have everything separated into classifications on my Fotki site for viewing at the link listed below. If there is anything that you might be looking for and don't like to deal with Ebay then look there and send me a pm here and we can discuss further. Thanks. http://public.fotki.com/1320wayne/holeshot-resins/
  2. I see the item was relisted.........and it didn't last long either. How about list your auction with multiples so that more people have a shot at them? I assume it was a "buy it now" so you can increase the qty. available rather than posting just one at a time. Just a thought. I would like a set but I don't have the time to camp out on Ebay and wait for the next one to be posted.
  3. How about a link to the auction. I did a search and nothing comes up in Ebay.
  4. O.K., so here is my progress on the latest part that I am working on. It is a wild three port blower hat that was designed and run by Mike Janis in the Pro Mod ranks. This thing just screams awesome. And here is where I am with the master for future casting. Stay tuned for the finished part.
  5. Those are all really nice builds.
  6. Very nice Lyle. I've been trying to come up with ideas for a mild custom for this kit and haven't been able to nail anything down yet.
  7. Very nice build. I love that first shot, it looks mean.
  8. I need to break out the Thesaurus to see how many positive explanations I can find for this build. How about awesomspectacufascinatfreakinamazing. That sounds good.
  9. Great job. Impressive work on the lights and a nice clean build.
  10. Thanks guys for all of the comments. Here is a pic. of what the paint looked like before I added the decals. I was really impressed with how this paint applied straight from a can. I almost didn't want to add any decals. I'm not the best painter when it comes to models so I get a little excited when one comes out as good as this.
  11. Very nice Jim.
  12. Another sharp looking build Jim.
  13. Bruce, the Ethanol decal will snug down inside the opening pretty good and cover most of the area. The dry break image is a separate decal and I put this in first. I should have done the Ethanol decal fist followed by the other one. That way it would have covered better.
  14. Here are the finished pics. of my latest completed build. This is an AMT COT curbside kit that has been updated with a resin nose and resin spoiler to bring it up to current day specs.. The paint is Dupli-color metalcast blue over their metalcast silver base coat. Six coats of color followed up with five coats of clear. This is topped off with an excellent decal sheet from Powerslide. I adjusted the ride height and detailed the tires and wheels with decals from different Slixx sheets.
  15. The Moroso valve covers appear to be what was found in the 80's era Monogram pro stock Camaro kits. Paint looks great Terry.
  16. I'm with Mike. Ready for a few of these myself.
  17. I think you need to get these ready for purchase. I'm ready to start on something now. The body looks great. It will look even better when there's three or four of them on my workbench. Thanks for filling a void in the modern pro stock world of modeling.
  18. Here is a link to the photos from todays FAST meeting held at the Hobby Lobby in Ocala, FL. Another great meeting. Attendance was down just a bit but still a good amount of members were there, including yet another new member. Some really diverse models displayed on the table. Some really nice completed ones along with some very interesting wips. http://public.fotki.com/1320wayne/fast-club-meetings/december-2012-fast-/
  19. Finally was able to add one of my holy grail kits to my stash today. For years I have been attempting to acquire either of the two Tyrone Malone race hauler trucks. Every time I tried to get one the price was either already too high or it went too high (Ebay) for me to even consider buying. Today I was finally able to get a complete, sealed inside, Hideout Truck for less than $100. Only a few more holy grail kits left to go and life will be complete, LOL!
  20. You are seeing high res. pics. using my smart phone as well as early masters shots. All final cast pieces are nice and smooth.
  21. Here are pics. of three new blower hats just completed. The first is a two-port "shotgun" style blower hat followed by two four port, square blower hats. One large and one small. All three of these are done as two pieces. The front face of each blower is separate to enable me to cast them easier and with minimal casting issues/defects. These are all 1/25th scale.

  23. Hey Jim, Renshape is a lightweight composite/wood material that is as lightweight as balsa wood but much more durable and easy to work with in regards to shaping parts for model use or casting. The one downside is that it is not the cheapest material out there. Try www.freemansupply.com they have a starter/sampler kit that only retails for about $25, and it includes multiple pieces of different grades of Renshape
  24. Thanks guys. Brad, I've still got two older projects to get back to completing. The 63 Vette pro mod and a Dodge Magnum wheelstander. Both have been on hold for far too long and need to be completed. From there I have another wild pro mod build planned with a cool phantom paint scheme.
  25. Really nice build Alan. Color is sharp.
