Tis a funny thing Adam, in the late 1950s when Pyro did that 1909 Hupmobile, it was nearly a 50 year old car... like a 1970 car is to us today.. and we have plenty of model cars like that. And many of our aging herd still thinks of them as fairly new!
Very cool model, it looks great!
My first experience with a Miura was Matchbox cars! Here’s my original I’ve had since 6th grade.. 1970! And even as a kid I couldn’t leave well enough alone.. I detail painted it.
Wow! The 2020 annual build posts have started!
At first I thought it was too early but since you have better than 20 builds and are done for the year, why not?!
Great builds. A good varied group! Have great holidays!
Yes they do! I buy small items for my stamp collection from a couple of dealers.. $1-3 items and these dealers encourage you to buy a bunch of stuff, not pay immediately, and they combine and invoice you through the eBay system every two weeks.
Of course eBay has other ideas. They relentlessly pester me via email and text messages to pay a friggin dollar invoice!
An old couple wakes up in the morning and the wife says, “I had a dream last night that I was at K-Mart.
The man replies, “I had a dream that I was with three beautiful women!”
Wife asks, “Was I there?”
Husband, “Nah, you were at K-Mart.”
All you need to do is look up hobbylobby.com on your phone. One of the headings is "Coupons". Click on that, choose the print option and the coupon pops up. Just show that to the cashier. They can scan the bar code. Works every time!
How timely a post! I am finishing up my Jeepster pickup and somehow went into a Fireball 500 parts box without instruction sheet. I thought the trailer would look good behind the Jeepster.
I went nuts trying to find the friggin ramps! At least I now know there aren’t any! I don’t like that conversation to 4 wheels so I’ll just go with a two wheel trailer. And since this one doesn’t have any fenders, I’ll figure out something!
Great project! I’d love to have one of these kits. I know it has limited appeal here in USA, so I’ve been hoping to find one discounted at a show.. then of course there were no shows this year!
There are a lot of real Double Decker London busses here though. You’d see them used as billboards out front of a restaurant, or in one case I saw one as a restaurant, like a food truck. I’ve seen open upper deck busses used for tourists in both New York City and Philadelphia.
