  1. Yes his work is amazing, and let’s not forget Dwayne who mastered them! Absolute sculpture with no compromises! My Vic will become the car in the photo. My grandfather’s last car, that I wound up driving over 200,00 miles.
  2. I need to get one of those! I have the 89 Vic. Back in the Day the Aberdeen NJ police department drove those Novas! My friend’s father was a cop there and on occasion gave me a ride home from school. Neighbors thought I was in trouble! i could see your second car as a taxi ??
  3. The first one I saw with fenders was done by the late Dave Dickash using 34 Ford fenders Here’s a photo of it from 2001 Staten Island show
  4. Very nice period piece!
  5. Just checked and notice says temporarily closed, but it’s all of them within the area, so I think they’re just easing into that.. done with them anyway. They ticked me off this summer and this is final straw
  6. I bought a couple of the strange dragster.. kind of a stretched Barracuda if memory serves me, in a special plastic color.. buried somewhere in my model warehouse!
  7. Dinner? Ha! This morning I made myself a very nice roast beef sandwich.. nice red beef and a lot of it. Mayo and roasted red peppers! On a wrap to avoid bread. Lunchtime at work I was trying to finish up a report so about 12:20 I reach for my insulated bag and guess what? No sandwich! Yea, I managed to leave it on the counter in the kitchen! So I drank my Diet Coke and ate my orange! My wife had put it into the fridge so I came home and ate it for dinner!
  8. When my kids were small we’d get compliments on how good they were in restaurants. And we thought it was just normal!
  9. People are using the Impala SS full wheel covers from the 2 door version of same kit
  10. My irk of the day? Bank of America texted me that they just closed all the branches in my area! It’s a pain to move to a new bank!
  11. Looks good Claude. Interesting that the two images match up when you run it through the printer the second time! I’ll have to see if that works with my printer. I have put one decal on top of another for better coverage. To answer the original question.. I use the BMF decal paper for inkjet. And the Testors decal fixative spray over. I usually allow the decal to dry overnight before I spray it, then another overnight before I wet it to affix to a model. Another key is that I will print several of each decal and use the best images first, and I have extras in case one gets messed up as I’m working.
  12. Very cool! I love creative and unusual builds.
  13. I have the leaf fiend behind me. All year long if there’s a single leaf out there, he has this monster walk behind leaf blower going at 180 decibels! He’s wearing ear muffs but thinks nothing of walking this contraption right up against the fence when we are out in our pool.
  14. With Swedish beauties
  15. My copy arrived yesterday in the Philadelphia suburbs. I did get a chance to scan through it and it looks just great! I will give it a thorough read this week. I’m very pleased to see it back! Hope you can keep it going!
  16. Congratulations Wayne! I have three and wouldn’t trade them for the world!
  17. Unfortunately they were mostly AMT etc like 55 Chevy Cameos and things that have been reissued to death.
  18. I bought five of them! Back then I was working for a large home developer and I got to buy all the vehicles. This was the home warranty department fleet.
  19. Let’s see.. back 30 years ago I was buying kits from a dealer at club meetings for $6 each! If I tried to resell those at a show today I might get $10! Big profit! ?
  20. Probably a loss leader to get people to go to AW store, hoping they become regulars
