  1. Awhile back Doug Wagner told me he had bought the business. Then something happened and deal didn’t finalize.
  2. in response to your package delivery post.. here’s a screenshot of my phone. eBay predicting the package would arrive two days in the past! And it only gave two days before it would be late! Package did arrive on the 20th. Last month I had a USPS head scratcher… one of my eBay sales went out in a regular business envelope on Oct 10. My mail hub is Wilmington DE and the recipient is in Delaware. He messages me on the 25th that he hadn’t received it! At least he messaged me instead of complaining to eBay! I asked him to wait another week, and he agreed. Got a message on Nov 1 that he received it in good condition! He said it would be fun to know what crazy journey it went on! I told him about the envelope I sent to western Canada. Disappeared so after a month I refunded the buyer. After another month she messaged me wanting to pay again. It arrived with a back stamp from Indonesia!
  3. New Jersey, New York, New England..
  4. I just saw an Ollie’s coupon for 15% off your entire order. Not sure if still valid
  5. “Meanings” are events where nasty little girls go to be mean to each other.
  6. Not quite finished.. I’m waiting for putty to dry! Yea that’s it..
  7. Coca Cola Decals on our model cars and trucks!
  8. From the seller side.. Yes! Non-payer offers is a problem on eBay. A big enough problem that I don’t accept offers. Also, I get several non paying bidders every month. Last one bid on and won 14 items. In seller circles they are happy.
  9. Stopped in the Pottstown PA Ollie’s yesterday. They had a few of the Coke trailers, Monopoly 34 Willys van snappers and a couple D50s. Left empty handed.
  10. not exactly on the street but I was at America on Wheels Museum in Allentown PA yesterday for the Halloween Bash Model Car Show. I’d never seen a Trabbie i person before!
  11. Find yourself in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent?
  12. I sanded out and polished a bunch of glue marks and scuffs. The paint job is just rattle cans without primer. I redid some BMF. It was just fun to see how much I could repair. And nice enough for the shelf
  13. Not a monumental accomplishment but the only thing off my bench this year. I bought this 57 from a junk box at GSL this year. It was missing bumpers, suspension broken, and body marred and chrome trim done poorly. I originally bought two 57 Fords for parts but liked the colors on this one, so I started playing with it. Soon enough it awakened. Not a superb model but looks good in my lineup of 57 Fords. Save!
  14. Oops! I forgot! This is one of the restorable built ups I got at GSL for $5 each. It was messy and missing both bumpers and front suspension. Not a super build but I liked the color scheme and it looks good in my 57 Ford lineup
  15. “Market Price” is what the menu listed for lobster, and most recently for wings, and I never ask the price because I’m not worthy.
  16. What sucked today? I went to Al Raab’s memorial service. He was a friend for 35 years, a founding member of our club and instrumental at NNL East. A talented builder and caster. At our club meeting last month, he had just gotten LASIK surgery and wasn’t wearing glasses. We talked about retirement and he was looking forward to resin casting the 3D printed bodies he designed. And now it’s done. RIP my friend.
