Nice build! The emblem has been wrong since the kit first debuted. As it would be costly to work on the body mold, R2's attempt to correct it is the correct decals. You need to sand off the emblems before painting the body, then use the decals.

If you showed me the business model for Uber 20 years ago I would have said it wasn’t possible! Not only the insurance part, but also the state requirements for taxi licensing and such. But here we are! I think Uber and such are a scam on the drivers since they figure out too late that they wear out a car before they pay for it!

I had an interesting delivery experience. I was ready to back out of my driveway about 7:30 the other morning and a black sedan zooms up, parks across my driveway and gets out quickly. He’s a big guy dressed in black. He leaves his door open and starts walking towards me with a flat package. He asks, “Are you Thomas Geiger?” I timidly answer yes. He says, I have something here you need to sign for.” I’m thinking this guy is a plain clothes cop or I’m being served papers. He holds out a tablet for me to sign.. I ask, “And what is this?” Amazon!

Tidbit was a nasty little poodle, despite having a pleasant sounding moniker.

This was the first Christmas season that my local Walmart had kits. Soon after the holidays guys were reporting these hitting the clearance aisle for $2-5 a kit.. but my store? Nooo! They still have the aisle end display at full price! Exton PA store

Lookin good! One of my favorite old kits. I was never a fan of the door fit or hinges. I think you got past that by wisely making your own hinges and adding the magnets

I don't like the precalculated tip chart that goes from 18 to 25%. Kinda nervy! But as they say those of us who once worked for tips tip well for good service.

Oh yea! I have a few dozen projects started over the last quarter century. I keep the boxes on shelves over my bench so I do not forget about them. I also have another 3-4 projects strewn about the bench and side tables. I haven't worked on anything for a while, but hope for the discipline of finishing something. But it's not hard to start a new one.. stimuli from real life, pictures on the Internet or discussions on this board can get me going! Right now? I'm thinking about the little Kei truck that's about half done as a race car hauler for a go cart... of course after reading the Kei truck thread!

eBay is a mess. They work on live code without any idea of the multiple things they are affecting. eBay has been rolling out their own International shipping, where sellers would ship the packages to a US address, then eBay will ship them to the countries of the final destination. And they're inflicting this upon sellers who want no part of it, without warning or even notice they've done it. My eBay store is for stamp collectors, so most everything I sell fits in a normal size number 10 envelope. That's $1.45 to any country. With eBay shipping it's suddenly $14 or more. I had no idea they had enrolled me, but I was wondering why I hadn't had any International buyers in the past few weeks... I usually get a few a week. I discovered the problem when a buyer in Israel sent me a message complaining that I was charging $15 for postage. I went through the information and found the page where I could Opt Out of the program. Typical of eBay, they worked out how to inflict this mess on everyone, but didn't have the exit path working! So suddenly the guy in Israel says now he's getting a message that I don't ship to Israel. And I get the same message from a lady in Canada. I check it out on my end, and eBay's software tells me I hadn't declared a shipping method to Israel... as in hey, you took it away and didn't put it back correctly!
