  1. Very nice!
  2. Not exactly. It costs 20% of the total to sell on ebay, so he'll see around $2,324 of that $2,950, or about $38.70 an hour for 60 hours work. Still a pretty good wage for a job that you like.
  3. I just watched it end, it went from $895 to $2,905 with two seconds left in the auction. Better than reality TV!
  4. Sorta brings back some memories, my brother bought a new '95 Civic coupe in that color with a 5 speed. Fun little car.
  5. Great job, the restored junker is my favorite build type, so satisfying bringing something back from the scrap pile.
  6. I'm planning a build of a kit that is right hand drive. But I want to convert it to left hand drive, so I need to reverse the dash. This is an asymmetrical dash that will be a real pill to do the old fashioned way, so my radical idea here is to find someone who can scan it, reverse the image, and print it. Is this even practical? Does anyone know somebody who can do it?
  7. That would be rather fast.
  8. Great project, one of those that you wonder why you haven't seen it done before. I read that the original form of the car had a prototypical independent rear suspension, later replaced with a regular 9 inch. Are you planning the IRS version?
  9. Recent car show. This represents the way I remember nearly all of these cars when they plied the streets.
  10. Great job, buncha neat Hotwheels™ builds on here lately.
  11. Nice work so far, it's looking pretty accurate.
  12. Who knew that version of that kit could look so good? Fantastic.
  13. So cool, I actually always wondered what the Bad Man would look like if based on a correctly proportioned body. Answer: Far better.
  14. That should keep you busy for awhile.
  15. Wow, Cosmo, that is very correct looking.
  16. Looks great, a Roundup 2 door wagon is the perfect subject for a resin offering.
  17. Outstanding! And hey, the exhaust pipe placement is to soften the tires for better launching grip, right?
  18. There is nothing I don't like about this truck. Modern rod builds on basic, low trim vintage pickups are a hot thing right now, and this one nails it from bumper to bumper.
  19. That was all the malaise era kits, nobody wanted any of them back in the days when we were all chasing down mint unbuilt '60s annuals. Now malaise cars are a hot thing, mainly because they never were a hot thing, and everyone likes to be a part of the new hot thing. And also because rodders are putting late model powertrains into them over in the 1:1 world, and an LSX in a disco era Nova or a new gen Hemi in a Volare are a fun and affordable way to Power Tour™ success.
  20. Great blend! I could easily see building a real truck like that.
