  1. Me too. Probably more than one.
  2. It all looks really good; however, not to be a rivet counter, but the upper firewall is a bit off. The kit depicts an engine compartment mounted wiper motor, but the car has the motor mounted behind the dash inside the car. So that area will have to be smoothed to match the 1:1. The '66-up Comet/Fairlane did have the wiper motor there.
  3. MPC '70 Charger R/T, Revell '69-'70 Mustang coupe/convertible, AMT '68 Torino pace car convertible, AMT '69 Torino Cobra coupe.
  4. A random sampling: Slot cars: Small scale: Large scale: Swap: -MJS
  5. This car is straight-up eye candy, and still 100% relevant today. I hope it was finished, it didn't have far to go.
  6. Great trans-Atlantic trade (UK) with 57peppershaker AKA Steve.
  7. "Your license, where's your license?" "It's on the bumper, man."
  8. Very nice replica.
  9. The coolest. It looks just like what most of the '70s street freak builders had in mind, and would have built if they could have.
  10. I have a collection of scrap bits for the really small stuff and "touch ups". I hardly toss any of it.
  11. Wow, wow, and more wow. This is shaping up to be an absolute stunner. Love everything! Hate nothing!
  12. Very, very nice. I have a close affinity for box Panthers, as we had a new '79 LTD-S (two headlight, for those who aren't familiar) wagon, and that was my favorite family bus growing up.
  13. Nice channeled Deuce roadster. Early Rocket for sure, Olds wheelcovers (three, at least) Still had the banjo rear.
  14. The Hoonicorn Mustang vid was the best, but this was a close second.
  15. Joe, that truck is 100% rock and roll. Models can be overlooked at one show, and wow the crowd at the next....
  16. Tough looking truck, Tink. I'm noticing a trend here in fortified go-anywhere pickups.
  17. Nice. I've got one too, and was also planning Grabber Green. Just waiting for time...
  18. Been using Chrome Tech for some 25 years, only a couple problems in that time. One part lost, Bob found another, chromed it and sent it to me. One rack contaminated chrome, (looked like thousands of tiny dust particles in the chrome) Just promo bumpers, no big deal to strip, remount and send back in. Second time was the charm. Both were 20 or more years ago, no problems since, last time was around a year ago - three racks, no problems. Bob's the real deal. But nobody vacuum metallizes fast, they need 40-50 racks minimum to bring to the plater. Fast would be another type of process, which I don't have any experience in.
  19. Spray 'em down with Westley's Bleche-Wite, work in with a wet tooth brush, rinse. Just one more option.
