  2. Mike,I am the LAST person to ask about THAT. BUT, Clay Jones, one of our brother modelers here, Posted a GREAT how to on posting pictures from your PB account.THAT should at least get ya in the ballpark. It's the FIRST thread in the "Tips an Tricks" section. It's pretty thorough, and it might help. Enjoy youtr stay here,Mike, It IS a pretty cool place! WELCOME! ;)
  3. Mike, I have alot al freinds who do resin casting. It, in and of itself, are NOT that black magic a region that YOU couldn't do it. The problem is comeing up with an acceptable MASTER! ALL the guys I know can cast like GANGBUSTERS, the PROBLEM is, GETTING castable MASTERS! Just because it looks good to ONE person, doesn't mean it's ACCEPTABLE! I have done some that I've lent out as masters, and THEY still needed work. Nothing major, mind you, it LOOKED like it was supposed to, but it WAS missing the little Emblems and other little things that made it a 'Ready to cast master" The guys who DO cast these masters ALREADY have their hands FULL just tryng to CAST. Makeing the masters to CAST FROM, is even MORE time consumeing. If you could offer up a MASTER of those particular cars you mentioned, I'm SURE one of the resin casters here on MCM forum, would be willing to do it. Hope this helps.
  4. John, You got it Bro!

  8. Ulf, it really just depends on what look your going for. The last one, with the Cragars on front an the Steelies in the back are more my speed. That's the look we tried for back then.(Late 60's early70's)

  10. It wasn't MINE, but I remember as a little kid, we would pick cherrys up north in Travserse City. The migrant workers would come up from Texas an the south to pick. This one guy, Jessie, had a 55 Chevy 4 Dr. REALLY nice car, that pretty baby blue like color an white. Nice car. Anyway, he kept the rake in it by wedgeing up the rear of it with 2 X 4's, WEDGED between the rear axle and the chassis where it rose up over the rear end! Them things looked like they were 2 ft long, an the car rode WORSE than a truck on those dirt roads, but with those mags and chrome reverse wheels on it, it sure LOOKED COOL!!!!
