  4. I got two of these Doug. One is an unbuilt Hardtop, an the other is a convertable, which i want to turn into a 2dr Breezeway coupe, l'm gonna order just the ROOF from Modelhaus, like Chuck did, to do it! I think it'll come out pretty good! I had a freind who had one back in High School.
  5. Yeah, That all it is, a custom air cleaner.
  6. Torgny, I have NEVER,EVER seen this kit built to THIS degree of detail!!! You did a KILLER job on this!!! You, SIR, are TALENTED!!!! GREAT job, definately NOT a kit for a beginner, of which you certainly are NOT!!! A VERY nice build up of a not so nice kit!
  7. Ed, i think there's more complex cuts required to to that to the 48, than the old 4 cut roof chop on them little 57's! But THAT woulda been a GREAT option!!!!
  8. So far so good. But I gotta agree, that blanket is REALLY cool! Where'd ya get it? or didja make it???
  9. Jeeeeze,Peter, I just have trouble thinkin just HOW far your imaginenation goes! That's a COOL way to use up leftover bodies!!! You an Raul are becomein the guys to beat when it comes to our little Ohana of off the wall designer/builders. Oh sorry forgot the Geezerman hisself! I mean, puttin a squirrel skull on a model IS pretty FAR OUT side the box thinkin! Great job so far Peter, Goona look good when she's done!
  10. Anthony Rios, "Mr. Biggs" won Best of Show, and it was his First "Triple Crown". He has won all three NNL'S in ONE YEAR! NO ONE ELSE has done that!!! CONGRATULATIONS, Tonio!!!! YOU DA MAN!!!!!!! ;)

  12. Bill posted this over in our cave with wip pics. it's converted from the Orange Blossom Special. He did ALOT of nip an tuckin to get it right. I'm only addin this caz I don't know if Bill'll be back.
  13. Mike, there's an article on this car in a recent Hemmings Muscle Car. It tells the story of how the guy found it, an what he did to restore it. If i find the issue date, I'll PM it to ya! ;)
  14. I like it. Just take off all the gaudy race decals they cover them with, and there's some nice lookin cars under there! Good job!

  17. Jim, THAT came out BEAUTIFULLY! it really looks good all foiled up! I've heard AND seen this done before, but in this larger scale it REALLY is impressive. Your "Wanda"'s lookin GOOD!!!

  21. "And Now For Something Completely Different..........."
  22. With the tailights set like they are, it's a Mercury Bobcat. :) VERY nice Doi!
  23. These pics show it to a much better advantage. I still looks too clean to me. i LOVE the rust detailing an fadeing, but it doesn't LOOK all sloppily welded, with micselanious junk just welded all over it. I think it's a REAL hot rod, and not a cartoon car. I like it. Rat rod or not.
  24. Felix, it looks REAL nice, in fact, kinda too nice ta be a ratrod! It looks like a ol hot rod that was found inna barn. It just ain't QUITE ratty enough. Personally I like it!.
  25. James, Of course brother you can use regular thinners and mineral spirits, Unless of course your particular airbrush can't be cleaned with mineral spirits do to some problem. But yeah, Daddy-o, you's spendin ALOT of money for nothing. Good luck!
