My ONE supersluethspy TOLD me wat it was AFTER I posted my answer, but that's ok caz I STILL think it LOOKS like a model. It actually looked to ME like it was sittin on a railing in someones back yard! GOOD one Harry!
Right after High School, one of my Bud's bought a Gremnlin X with a 304 an a 3 speed. MAN that little skate was flat out SCARY!!! I LIKE the way yours looks Kenny, but John's DIDN'T look as MEAN as yours!!! ( Does it have the Levi Interior?)
Welcome Back, Dingo! You KNOW your ALWAYS welcome here Bro. Plus, I'd NEVER seen a Cardstock model till I saw yours! Those are neet, Just goes ta show a model can be made from ALL KINDSA stuff!!! GLAD your back!!!
Nick, at first i thought you were talkin about ,like radiator hose clamps, then I saw the next post an realised what you were talkin about! GREAT idea Bro! That's one that'll come in REAL handy! Plus, ya can't beat FREE for a price! THANKS!!!
Gary, if he HAS one, mebbe you could ask Alan Raab of Ma's Resins. Alan has a TON of older kits he uses to draw his molds from. He MIGHT be able to help you out. If you could provide him with a master,I'd bet he could do it. But that's just me guessin. Go head give him a shot, all he can say is sorry. But if you COULD get him to, you'd be in for a treat, cas he's VERY GOOD!
Gare, the ONLY other caster I can think of that MIGHT have one is RMR resin casters. I have them in my favorites so I don't hafta keep lookin it up. Anybody out there gotta link to RMR?
Gary, you MIGHT try the Modelhaus for that. If I remember correctly(which IS a long shot) i THINK he used to carry one in his catalog. It's been a long time since I've seen one though, but it might be listed on his website. An i KNOW it'll be nice caz it's one of his castings!!! Good Luck!!!
Steve, our clubs model supplier,Tom, says they SHOULD be out by the middle of the month. He said he'd probably have them for our next meeting on the 17th. I got mine on order, so HOPEFULLY he's right! Hope this helps!
Welp,Raul, ya gon an dunnit agin,Bro! Lookin REAL good! i like the way you used the 48 Merc lights in the back.it just flows with the rest of it! GREAT BUILD(natcherly)
Rob, Larry and his younger Brother Mike were part of the "Cool Custom Kats" at AMT during it's heyday. They were resplonsible for quite a few of the custom options that came in those kits back then. He was a REALLY neat guy who ENJOYED seeing his creations on the modeling tables. He WILL be sorely missed by EVERYONE who had the pleasure of knowing, OR meeting him.
Guys, I just called the LJ Griffin Funeral Home, and the lady there said Larry Passed on the 25th of August, and was buried this past Saturday. He was a WOONDERFUL person and a great freind. He will be missed by MANY in our model club, of which he was an Honorary Member. God Bless you Larry, Rest in Peace. Till we meet again ,my freind.
But,,,,,,,WHY??????? Sometimes, JUST SOMETIMES, JUST because you CAN doesn't mean you should!!!! Oh, and DEFINATELY, they ARE NOT the most popular car on the road! FAR from it!!!!
WoW! I got about 7 exacto knives an ALL of them have those tri angle "Grippy Things" I try to buy the type that have the 6 sided blade ferrules, they help them to keep from rollin of the tables along with the "grippy thngs"
