  1. Will Jeffers be bringin one to tha meetin??????
  2. Yes. More than one(multilpe)makes them Ditti. VERY good!
  3. Bob, If you want to trade, I have a 60 SMP Elco that I kitbashed with a 59 to get the same results you got there, and it wasn't NOWHERE near the work you put into yours! But then again, mine DOESN'T have that nice detail that the Revell 60 Chevy has either! I might have done it the easy way, but YOU'RE doin it the RIGHT WAY! Looks GREAT!
  4. It's BEAUTIFUL. It looks like little jewel. The T-70 has ALWAYS been one of my FAVORITE cars. Your looks like a little work of art, ESPECIALLY in that scale!
  5. After workin 32 years in an autoplant, I can tell ya that a factory manual tells ya how the factory WANTED it done. If you ran out of red paint an you only had blue, it got painted BLUE cause in base line assembly, you DO NOT stop the line! NOPE. Forman just signs off that he ran outta red paint an switched to blue till he recieved MORE red paint. An stuff like THAT is NOT recorded in factory service manuals. Trust me.
  6. Ya CAN'T REALLY bust his chops. He keeps one around his neck, to get the dog to play with him. So he's always gonna have one near.
  7. Those old JoHan Promos WERE molded in some weird won't glue plastic. That and the fact that the model KITS were molded in regular styrene makes the hard to find unwarped.
  8. Micheal, i have to dissagree with those who say it wouldn't be a good seller. Personally, I think it would be a great seller! Especially if done by a reputable proffesinal caster. Maybe someone like Kris Morgan, He likes off the wall things like that. I finished a 71 MPC Pinto Wagon master for him that he'll soon be casting, and maybe if you contact him, he'd be willing to consider it. Couldn't hurt to ask IF your serious. I 'd take one just to have something unique!
  9. Greg, you been on this rascal for so long that taken a few more to make it PERFECT isn't a problem,Bro! Your still as sharp as ever! Wait till you feel it again, than just give it hell! Your doin an OUTSTANDING job of it so far! ONE of these days I DO truley hope ta make it to "Dragalogalong" so we can share a Coke in Paradise!!!!
  10. 'Ats OK Tulio, you ARE the Commie we've come to love! Any "Commie" that builds like YOU is OK in MY book!!!!
  11. I THOUGHT that rascal looked familiar!
  12. Jason, some folks may just be intimidated by such good work by a teenager! There's ALOT of guys on here my age who wouldn't even TRY doin omething like this! Personally, models are just little bitty cars, so if you're usein a REAL car to model from,ALL the BETTER! your're doin GREAT on this, Don't stop now Bro, you rollin BIG TIME!!!
  13. Kyle, ALL of those scoops are available in current kits. That'd be the EASIEST way to get them. That extra tall z/28 hood is available thru the resin casters who advertise here.
  14. Thierry, you one bad mu fu homie! Yeeesh, I've been known to get kinda carried away with scratchbuildin stuff for my models, but YOU practically scratchbuildin this whole truck!. But I betcha even doin it this way it's STILL a monster project!. But hey, look at it this way, when all is said an done, YOU MOS DEF gonna be the ONLY kid on the block with one a THESE bad boys!!!!!
  15. JoHan did a 2 dr annual coupe.I have one. I'm not sure about a convertable. I've never seen one, but that's not to say there isn't one.
  16. i have one of these from Kris. Very nicely done. Comes with a seperate trans pan too!
  17. I've been tradeing on here for a few years now. Only been flat out ripped off ONCE. For all the times I haven't, I'd say I'm battin a hundred! The guys here are pretty much a straight up bunch. I try to help the younger guys out with stuff. I give alotta stuff away. Just treat others the way YOU want to be treated, it'll come back to you.
  18. Thierry, you scrcatch building the INTERIOR TOO??? Dam boy ,you makein me so happy here Imma wanna slap muh mamma!!!! You GO brother!
  19. Tim, they DO interchange. The Revell has an OPEN front engine compartment, and the AMT chassis fit right in like a glove. The AMT body HAS the Engine compartment MOLED INTO the body! So that would need to be removed ,as the Revell chassis HAS the engine compartment molded to it also. Nothin to it if ya don't mind choppin plastic. But YES in a word, they DO interchange. I hope this helped. It did me!
  20. Tim, I've read elsewhere's where YES you CAN interchange bodies. PERSONALLY, I CAN'T tell you for sure if that's true. I DO HAVE BOTH kits at hand, so if you can give me a few, I'll go check for you.
  21. My thoughts exactly! Great lookin lil scoot!!!
  22. Had a chance to see some of SMBC's stuff at our last meeting and it looked pretty nicely cast, with alotta detail. At least for what it was. They carry a WHOLE LINE of office interior detail stuff. Even the john's! Nice stuff!
  23. Check out Kenny overt Bandit Resins. He has a 68 olds post coupe in his catalog.i'm pretty sure it's 68. Could be a 69,but i THINK it'sa 68.
  24. VERY nice. You did an OUTSTANDING job on this. VERY nicely done!!!!
