Did you notice the tailights were of a different styleing that the 63 Tempest Funny car? When I alterd mine back to stock, I didn't know there were two different taillight treatments, depending on model. THEN I saw THIS particular styled rearend in CC/HR magazine, an decided to do IT. Thanks to ALL the guys who helped me find the second kit!

The wagon looks like a Mercedes, the coupe is an Avanti.(Origenally made by Studebaker! YEAH, STUDEBAKER!!! Nice, isn't it???)

I don't think I've paid an MSRP since the 60's! When K-Mart used to sell models, even their prices weren't MSRP prices. The box said 2.00 but the K-mart price was 1.50! So, in all honesty I haven't paid MSRP since the late 60's, early 70's BEFORE all the discount stores came into being. I'll NEVER pay MSRP's NOW. I'll get them on line or use the Micheal's, JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby coupons. Even my friend Tom, who's also a vendor/member of our club doesn't charge MSRP for his kits. I paid 22 bucks for my Mobius Chrysler 300, which I felt was fair.

Very VERY smooth conversion!!!! Looks like it was factory stock! Only thig I could see was the dash, Being a Merc, it shoulda had the Cougar dash. But hey, that's just me, an it in NO WAY takes ANYTHING away from it, it's STILL an VERY nicely built model!!!!

Only stock 41 Chevy I know of is a die cast by Danbury Mint. Testors does a Hot Rodded version too. RMR makes a BEAUTIFULLY CHOPPED 41 chevy that's VERY nice. Danbury Mints 41 is about 130 bucks or so, The Testors Die Cast is about 21 bucks at Micheals Craft Stores and RMR's is about 40 bucks or so. Hth.

I GOTTA go with Danno on THIS one! That drain cleaner is some NASTY stuff! Even just the FUMES will hurt you! I use "Simple Green", it works for me, but MANY other products will do the same thing WITHOUT the harmfull effects!!! Honestly, go with the safer stuff, savein a few minutes is NOT worth the results of a simple acciden/mistake. That stuff WILL BURN YOUR SKIN ON CONTACT!!!!

That style of LeMans is cast by RMR resins. It's actually a Can Am coupe, and it looks pretty good after a little TLC. It doesn't FALL together, but with some patience an good refrence pics it builds into a pretty good lookin kit. Oh yeah, it's pretty complete, you add a motor, wheels an tires , an your good to go. HTH

Is it just ME, or are you guys seein unposted posts? It LOOKS like someone wanted to reply to some posts, but only part of the post posted! I mean, like I can see the TOP part of the words but not the bottoms. Makes for very difficult reading. Is this happening to anyone else? This is the only forum it's happening on. You guys got problems?
