I have a few pieces from Motor City and very happy with all. Although it took a while to get my last order, I am very satisfied and it was worth the wait. I just received the 60 Ford Fairlane 4 door which is flawless and the 63 Valiant Wagon I bought at NNL East. The resin is as smooth as plastic and hard to tell the difference. I guess you can say patience pays off. The Detroit guys know what they are doing....for sure!

It would be great to see this iconic Jeep in a detailed kit, but my cynical side say it makes too much sense. Round 2 is stuck on reissues after reissues of the same kits with new box art, but it's boring to see the same every two years. They art not a risk taking producer, and yes I understand the cost of making new tools but we have Moebius and JR Salvino, smaller companies that clearly understand the voids in our hobby. Hopefully we will see the day come when Round 2/ERTL took the risk and produced some new detailed subjects from the late 90's and early 2000, fantastic years for new tools. Revell, on the other hand is still feeling their way with the investors and have come up with the occasional new tool. Hopefully they will see the value in this segment of car modelling. Let's hope there is light for something off the beaten path. Trendsetter, I do like your rendering of the Wagoneer and hope it would inspire one of the kit companies.

Just another blob of plastic for $35 bucks from Round 2. I would rather spend the money on a new kit with detail.

Beautiful build! You have the correct wheel stance as well. Great job with an old kit that always had a soft spot for me.

Tom, your Mopar builds are beautiful and very accurate. I appreciate them as I am an avid fan of Mopars having owned a couple restored 1:1. I look forward to seeing your builds and as soon as we settle in our new home, I will get my 63 Savoy Max Wedge and 62 Dart Ramcharger done. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks Tom, I can't wait see how you progress, your 63 is coming along great. Once my 63 is done, I will start working on my 62 Plymouth wagon, but there is a lot to do and I am just scratching the surface on this project.

Tom, your 63 looks great, you are inspiring me to finish my 63 Savoy Max Wedge, here are some pics. Too many moves in the last few years have put off some of my model projects. Glad to see you are using the Missing Link manifolds that I created for Kevin a few of years ago. I have been contemplating sending the body and parts to Kevin to cast as a resin kit, so I may have to dust off my project and finish it. Thanks for the inspiration.

No problem Steve. The Lindberg block is not bad and is a good basis for a 426 wedge. Because I'm a MOPAR nut, I get a little carried away with detail. Your Fury is looking great like your other projects. I love your builds! Can't wait to see it finished!

Steve: Here is the wedge cross ram manifold I mastered for Missing Link. Dan is correct, I used the heads and valve covers from the Tony Nancy kit wedge engine as they are correct,as you can see in the pictures. Fireball"s Carter AFBs are perfect for this combination!. Kevin has the manifolds available. BTW, I also made a Hemi cross ram available from Kevin as well. The engine block is from Revell"s 69 Charger. Good luck.

Thanks Rico for the update and your patience with me, I know your workload is busy. Guys, Rico is an awesome communicator and designer who is also a great guy to work with. Believe me his parts are well worth waiting for.

Absolutely gorgeous, as with all your builds. This one is special!

I mastered this grille several years ago to fit MCG's 68 P/E grille, with clear signal ad headlights. I had Norm Veber make a couple of resin copies for me but he never made them available. Kevin Lutz has my master now and has been on his to do list but no availability at this point. Hopefully he can make a mold when his busy schedule clears up. I made it from the AMT 68 Camaro grille but it fits the Revell grille opening very well.

Dan, Check with Kevin at Missing Link, he cast my Wedge and Hemi cross ram manifolds. He typically lists them on eBay.

The Ford Service Truck and the other planned 65-66 Ford F-100 kits are going to be a knock out for Moebius! Can't wait to get these. Love that Moebius is always thinking outside the box and getting better quality and subjects.

I would hope Revell would see it fit to make available a nose piece as a separate retrofit for the old kits we have lying around.

Jason, I probably will get back on track after the holidays, Rico is working on a more accurate taillight and trunk panel that I asked him to design. The fit of the grille is spot on. I sent him an extra body to size up everything. I have to finalize some interior details and final fit for everything. Still pondering if I should send the body and interior out to a resin caster since I think the body interior is more accurate and I know people will want this since it's been a long overlooked kit. I could use another copy to make a Sox & Martin version. Thanks for sparking the interest on this project. Happy holidays,

I have been hoping Tamiya (or Fujimi) would decide to doing a full detail Ferrari 330 GTS, one of the most beautiful Ferrari designs. I would look great to next their M-B 300 SL and fit into that group. Since they have done so many Ferraris, I am sure licensing would not be an issue. I keep hoping and think this would a be huge selling kit.

Hi Andrew: I just checked out your EASY Run website and now I understand your concern. Just so you know, I built the engine stand out of appreciation for it and that I follow Graveyard Cars. There is absolutely no intention to market what I created and was meant as a void to building something different. I am however, hopeful you take this as compliment to your equipment and appreciate that someone has gone through great lengths to create the engine stand in scale.
