Ditto, I support Moebius by buying just about every kit and will continue when the Chevy II's are out. It's so refreshing for a company to listen to their customers while sharing new kits before production. It seems every year gets better and hopefully some Dodge pickups and 67-72 correct Chevys will be on their way as well. Pay attention Round2. Well done Dave!

Hi Rico: Now that you have the GTX rear panel perfected, is the 68 Road Runner taillight/trunk panel on your radar? Great pieces as usual.

Just received the 69 Cuda taillight panel from Rico Redenz, all I can say is SUPERB! Rico got the curvature of the taillights down and the center panel is excellent. I also got another copy of the Cuda grille. I also ordered his 78 Dodge Ram grille which s another work of art. This has been well worth the time Rico put into the Cuda tail panel and his meticulous and masterful work is second to none. Dusty, sorry that I didn't reply here. My guess is the racing version was the base interior quarters, same shape but obviously not carpeted. Here's an image that may help. Thanks for your comments.

Well guys, once I finish my new workshop in about a month, I will resume this build thanks to the incredible work and collaboration with Rico. I will keep you all posted once I get back to the workbench. Rico, very well worth the wait!!! PS: my follow up project will be to resume work on my 63 Plymouth Savoy Super Stock (sorry bro)...but catch your breathe first.

Just received my Meng GT40 and happy with it. Going through the kit, Meng did a fantastic job at capturing the GT40. Is it perfect, no, but it is a great start for an accurately detailed replica, yes indeed! Hopefully, we will see some detail accessories for this kit appear soon. BTW, the plastic casting is well done.

I agree Snake... another blah, blah, blah month of reissues. Gee I hope Round 2 will produce some new subjects from existing tools, they have so many kit tools that can potentially be used as a basis for some new modified re-issued kits. Like using the tooling from the 57 Chrysler 300 for a Chrysler New York or Desoto Adventurer, or the 58 Edsel into a 58 Ford Fairlane or here is an easy one, a 62 TBird hardtop. Just a few to say the least. Their product planning needs to take advantage of the beautiful tooling from the late 90's early 2000's. Hopefully, they will have the molds to bring out kits we haven't seen for a while, like the 68 Coronet just as they did with the 63 Nova wagon and 64 Cutlass. I may be asking for too much though.

I have Iceman's Coyote engine which is going into my Bronco kit. His castings are beautiful and very well detailed. I'm looking forward to getting the Hellcat kit for one of my old Mopars.

Oh yeah! In addition, I wonder if Round2 has the MPC 68 Impala tooling.

Tony, I agree regarding your comments on Fine Scale Modeller. When Kalmbach announced they will be cancelling Scale Auto, they told us they would have more automotive content in FSM...BS. Very disappointing and can't wait until my subscription ends

Thanks Tim; Regarding the engine in the kit, for some reason both AMT and Johan in the early years seem to have put more detail effort into the Olds engines than other brands. With the new kit's door panel details as you say, it would make life easier to adapt them to the 66 floor pan and add some detailing.

Man, I can't wait to kit bash this with the 66 442 convert kit and see how everything fits. I am looking forward to modifying the door panels to the 64. Wow, another project!

I can't believe Revell hasn't taken advantage of their 67 Camaro for a 68 version or their 71 442 for a 70 442 coupe, and how about a 70 Dart from their 68-69 kits. They quickly came out with the 69 Chevelle on the heals of their 68. Come on guys, fill in the voids with some easy conversions.

I scratch built this Easy Run engine stand a few years ago and thinking about making another one with some improvements. Graveyard Carz inspired me to make one. I posted it on the forum a few years ago and got a reply from the owner of Easy Run warning me not to make these for sale without their expressed permission, which I had no intention to do so because it would be difficult to replicate in numbers. No worries though, it was made for my own pleasure.

The AMT kit is old tooling with poor chassis detailing and the extended axle is toy like, but that is what we had as kids. They will still get 35 bucks for them. Round 2 needs to get serious about new technology kits like their current year Camaros. Give credit to Moebius and David for using their tooling to offer different variations so we have more selections. Something that Round 2 refuses to do...just saying.

Boy, wouldn't it be great if Round 2 can cross the 66 442 tool with the 64 Cutlass for a more detailed kit, although most of us will kit bash anyway if need be. In any case, this is a long awaited kit to look forward to.
