  1. I like the color, I like the look of the black wheels, I like the look of the fender flares and the rear window treatment, but I would have definitely left off the bumpers.
  2. Ok, I know this doesn't relate directly to the model... but I found this online. It's a drag Gremlin, so it sort of applies here. Anyway, can someone explain the exhaust setup on this car?
  3. From the newspaper story: (Sheriff Kirk) Martin estimated damage to the vehicles at more than $300,000. Not only were their roofs and hoods caved in, 'the radios are ruined, the radar detectors, the cages in the cars... We're going to have to get the jaws of life up here to pry the trunks open and see about the rifles and shotguns,' Martin said.

  5. Hands down, winner of the "Oldest Resurrected Thread" Award! Do people actually go back dozens and dozens of pages and read ancient threads? And then respond to them? I guess they do...
  6. Then the moderators wouldn't have anything to do!

    58 Edsel.

Whatever problems you had, you sure can't see them in the finished product. Very nice!
  8. I did a google search. They don't have a website The Little Motor Kar Co. 203 Linda Lane Reading PA 19606 610-779-1462 littlemotorkarco@talon.com
  9. But it sure is shiny!
  10. Very nice! (aside from the very "iffy" hood fit...)
  11. I know. And I was agreeing with you!
  12. Let's hear from all of you who live outside the US. Chime in, show your colors! We want to hear from all of our friends all over the world! Step up and let us know where you are! I guess I wasn't clear enough for some people?
  13. $3.85 per issue if you subscribe. $5.50 per issue if you buy it one at a time.
  14. Final vote: 46 REAL, 19 MODEL. And the answer is... REAL!
  15. I think we need to start calling him "Professor Skip"...
  16. You bet! Steve, is that a Beaumont?
  17. Relax, Mike... we took you back a long time ago!
  18. I know we have members here from all over the world... Europe, Australia, South America, Africa (yeah Chris, I mean you!), the "great white north," etc. How cool is that? Literally a worldwide group of people sharing a common interest. The Olympics got me thinking about how different people from different places can all come together due to a common interest. In the case of the Olympics, sports... and in our case, the hobby we all share. So how about a "parade of nations" right here... just like the Olympics opening ceremony? Let's hear from all of you who live outside the US. Chime in, show your colors! We want to hear from all of our friends all over the world! Step up and let us know where you are!
  19. I have to agree that a sub is the way to go. Much cheaper on a per copy basis than buying them one issue at a time at the store.
  20. I'm no pickup guy, not by a long shot, but DANG! That's cool!
  21. How about that! A dyno for slot cars! How cool is that?
  22. Pretty sure you'll be getting a replacement part sooner than that!
  23. Who made the original?
