  1. Better believe it! And I'm watching you right now...
  2. The "official" story on that is that the building used to be a bank, and the vault is still in there... and the vault deadened the noise outside. Kinda hard to figure, though... the vault is only in a certain portion of the building, the rest is just regular construction. Something in that story isn't kosher.
  3. That is a very slick looking model though... old thread or not!
  4. Sorry, pal... mods are ineligible for "Resurrecting the Oldest Thread" awards...
  5. You're right, Armenian food isn't very well known here, but it sure is good! I've been to Armenian restaurants and loved it. I've also been to Ethiopian restaurants, also very good. Everything is served on big platters, communal style... you just go for it and dig in! Great stuff!
  6. Well, you sure as hell can't spell to save your life... but it sounds like you sure know how to cook! Yum!
  7. Actually only 7 of the fleet of 11 were wrecked, so they have 4 left. My guess is they match whatever they still have.
  8. Exactly. You're talking about a whole site by itself, and several people to compile the data, keep it updated, etc., etc. Not exactly something that can be thrown together in an hour or two.
  9. '67 Eldorado... good call!
  10. And I don't even mention it every time, just every now and then. A lot of people seem to think that alternators are held in mid air by magic!
  11. I don't see what's so funny about missing mirrors and floating alternators...
  12. Buick, Cadillac, LaSalle, Pontiac, Olds, etc. don't come to mind?
  13. No, it's based on one man's opinion.
  14. Remember... don't post any hints or answers here. PM me with year, make and model (all three needed for credit!). The answer: 1929 Pontiac Series 6-29 "landaulette"
  15. Two things. First, where are the taillight lenses? And second, you have made the same mistake that 99% of people make when they build a Willys. That molded-in edge on the windshield represents the rubber gasket, it should be painted flat black.
  16. They must have gotten the fog lights from JCWhitney!
  17. Yeah, I guess racing a Gremlin falls into the "Dare to be Different" category in the first place!
  18. Nice! Except for the missing inside and outside mirrors it could almost pass for the real thing in your photos.
  19. Yeah, I agree, that split window thing has some sort of magic to it for some, but I see it as more of a gimmick than good styling. To my eye the '68 Corvette is a much nicer design than the '63. Heck, I prefer the original '53-54-55 to the '63! But I think I'm in the minority on that one!
  20. It depends on how far back you want to go, but if the cutoff is 1960s or newer, I think the 65-66-67 Impala belongs on the list. And I'd take the '68 vette over the '63.
  21. Ok, I know... totally subjective, everyone has their own opinion. But it's an interesting list, and I agree on the Riv. The other 4? Eh... not so much. Not that they're bad, just not "Top 5" material. http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2012/08/04/generally-fantastic-five-best-gm-designs/?intcmp=features
  22. Right. But why???
  23. A fifth wheel? Really? Doesn't that seem a bit out of place on a car (truck) like this?
