  1. Great looking little car Al. I did one of these about 2 years ago. It was a fun "little" side project.
  2. Thanks for the smiles Greg.
  3. Excellent job on the interior Steven.
  4. Not that I'm aware of...... but I'd buy one if there was... and also a 1939 Delahaye... This 1:18 Diecast is just a bit too pricey for me right now at $295.
  5. The Monogram '39 Chevy Coupe and Sedan Delivery kits come with those lights.
  6. Nice job John. That certainly is a different color.
  7. Why can't you guys take your personal attacks and name-calling to private PM's...... The rest of us don't need to see this garbage,,,,,, enough already.
  8. Thanks again so much guys. Jeff, I wouldn't mind being able to see 40 again.
  9. Thank you very much for thinking of me guys... I appreciate it. Hopefully I've got a lot more good years to look forward to in this great hobby.
  10. X2
  11. That looks pretty cool Greg. Nice job.
  12. Danny, the Southern Nationals Show from Nov. 2014 starts on page 78.
  13. Great job Yuri. The paint and engine and interior are all top notch.
  14. Wow... Gotta love those "custom" door handles... I find it amazing that these old builtups are still being found and offered up for rescue again.
  15. My models were a little neater than these back in the day...... http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-1959-CONVERTIBLE-PONTIAC-BONNEVILLE-CUSTOMIZED-BUILT-MODEL-CAR-AWESOME-/301577324479?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463768c7bf http://www.ebay.com/itm/AMT-1959-Pontiac-Bonneville-HT-Built-3-in-1-Annual-Kit-Orig-59/390862432216?_trksid=p2045573.c100034.m2102&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29701%26meid%3D3850826cbfcc4413bfbf64282023ca41%26pid%3D100034%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D311323943889 How about yours...???
  16. Harry, have the "powers that be" at MCM thought about having a page or so of Readers Models???
  17. Welcome to our plastic playground Jeff.
  18. Steven, that interior is just incredible. Painting those buckets is always a pain, but those side panels can really give you fits can't they?
  19. Yes Fabrizio, the NYC phone book is over 2 inches thick.
  20. Thanks for that update info Tim.
  21. Fabrizio, if the people who run contests submit good photos and captions to the magazine, or, if the magazine sends someone to the show to shoot the photos, then the contest will stand a good chance of getting into the contest coverage. If the shows don't submit photos then they're out of luck.
  22. Only 19 more days to go...!!!
  23. Got my issue #193 today (2015 Contest Issue) and would like to congratulate EVERYONE who has had their model(s) pictured in the magazine. That's better than winning a trophy at a show..!!!
  24. There was a resin kit on EBAY for a 1954 Pontiac that looked really good, with chromed bumpers & grille, etc. I sent the seller an inquiry question asking who the resin caster for the item was. I got a response saying that the caster asked to remain anonymous and that that particular kit was no longer in production. Well buddy, if you won't tell me who made it, I'm not bidding on it...
