    Nice build. Love the color. A couple of observations.......1, The hoses on a torch are red for acytelene and green for oxygen, and 2, those tanks would need to be secured somehow. If they fell over and knocked the valves off, they would become a rocket. Just a couple things an old welder would notice. All in all a nice build. Actually attempting this one myself with the same theme, but with a flat bed instead of the box.

    There's a couple I'd like to have, but I don't need the whole mess. Besides the wife would have a stroke. The prices per kit, about $15 bucks, not bad, just too much to invest, at least for me.

    Well, for me personally, I like my LHS. These guys are personally into military, but carry a wide variety of cars and trucks. If there is something I found on the net that they don't have, they'll order it for me, and I don't have to pay for shipping. I almost always get it at the same price. They also like to talk models, something my family gets tired of. And no I don't have a local club, but with a successful LHS, Michaels, and Hobby Lobby, you'd think there would be some interest. I like the personal interaction, friendly service, and most everything the same day. They are also only 10 minutes from my house. And if I want they will open the box and let me look at the contents before deciding to buy. Can't beat that!

    I just tell them that this is my hobby, if I started doing this for money, it would become a job, and would take all of the fun out of my hobby, so NO!

    I've got 2 grandsons, 6 and 3, from one grandpa to another, congrates. And they are way more fun than your kids were, all fun, no work. It don't get any better than that.

    My little girl (she's 31 now) built 4 models at about the same age. It was a blast sharing this hobby with her. She no longer builds, but I have both of the trophies she won. I know how you feel, it's great. Congrats to her, and you.
