I would suggest some foliage of some sort, that will give it a more realistic look. Basic idea looks good.

Some of you feel that 4 doors don't make good hot rods... well my mom's 65 Polara 4 door sedan would smoke most 2doors in town. ( 440 wedge) Seemed like a waste mom driving it.

This ones new to me, hadn't found the forum then. 54, can remember 29 cent gas, was introduced to models by my grandmother to keep me out of her hair while visiting for a couple weeks during the summer. Some people think that models are for kids, but most of those never built them, and just plain don't get it.

Ok don't have pics right now, but I'll get some as soon as I can, But my oldest stalled project is 30 years old, 1983 to be exact. Its a 1978 Datsun pickup," the California Sunshine". I cut open the doors, wanted to do suicide opening doors, couldn't get them to work. Also cut away the front suspension with the intent of scratch building a new one. However I was WAY over my head. So its been tucked away all these years waiting for me to develop the skills needed to finish. I've been thinking lately, its about time to try.

I think the story is most important. I agree with Joe, you have to be careful when trying to create motion, so that part of the diorama doesn't look out of place. The diorama's I like best look like a snapshot in time, yet tells a story at the same time.

Trying a resin kit for the first time. The question that I have is, will : " Black Magic " Bleche White white wall cleaner work as well as Wesly's? That's the brand everyone talks about on the forum, this is the stuff I found at Wally World. Also, how long do you leave the parts in it before rinsing them off before using them? Thanks for your help. Any suggestions are welcome.

What thickness of ca glue do you use? I have 3 thicknesses, what works best?
