Having been through similar experiences with my late mother-in-law I can sympathize with your experience. As for the electric leaf blower it seems as if battery operated lawn tools are the wave of the future. My battery-operated grass edger can edge circles around my old 2 cycle weed eater.

Great looking shade of Blue. Are you going to use the kit Hood Stinger decals, or leave it a solid color?

The Hood blackout finish looks great. The chrome window moldings are cleanly done.

Like the sharp lines between the colors on the interior and the flocking looks great. Those bumpers have me thinking I'll have to break down and get some of the Revell spray chrome paint.

I agree and disagree on this kit. Love the subject and wish that Revell or others would produce it with the same quality as their '56 Nomad. The problem with this kit is the proportions are a little wonky looking on the rear portion of the roof and the front grill and leading edge of the hood. Beyond that this is a good place to start.

Perfect color for this model of BMW. The paint finish looks great and the chrome trim as well. These were when I first learned what BMW was. I looked at one of these kits at a show/swap meet a couple of years ago. The degree of difficulty along with already having spent my model allowance for the show is the only reason I didn't get it.

Great looking Dune Buggy. The "Bass Boat" Metal Flake paint finish looks just right. Like the interior and engine detailing.

Another consideration would be to see if one of the other colors Tamiya offers in their Accent Color line might be a darker shade of the body color of your build. I have used their Gray color instead of Black and it looks more realistic, to my eyes anyway.

Great theme for this build. The Body color and the Watermelon themed interior look perfect together. Glad you listed what all you have done on this build, sometimes people don't always fully understand what all you have done on the details.

Both of these are great looking builds and cleanly trimmed.

You mention liking wagons, and I don't know if you watch Mecum Auctions on TV or follow them on their web site, but they had a Holden wagon that had been converted to left hand drive and sold in their last auction. The same consigner had a Monaro Ute that was still right-hand drive listed in the "Price goes on." I don't know what it would take to import one and the DMV issues would vary from one state to the next.

They are both beautiful looking. You were able to get the body side stripe and the wheels to match. Building a model of your favorite or present car is always fun.
