  1. Beautiful looking finishes and well detailed chassis. Easy to see how he won a well-deserved award.
  2. I also remember when this car was among the most desirable to own. Great looking paint finish and like the cleaner look with just an accent gold stripe instead of the "Bandit" look. Nice contrasting interior colors.
  3. Sort of asking your grandfather to jitter bug all night. For those not yet born in the mid to late 1900's, the jitter bug was a style of dancing that was very physical, and one could tire very easily. Keep up the good work on this as true testament to your perseverance.
  4. Great pictures and builds. Thank you for sharing.
  5. I agree with the custom trucking theme and like the paint color. The sculpting of the bed interior with the window showing the frame looks great.
  6. Beautiful paint colors and finishes. Very realistic looking interior detailing.
  7. Great looking color and very smooth. Like the engine swap and the stance.

Beautiful looking paint work and body. You mention the part fitting issues and since this is a kit of a "kit car" that can be understandable.
  9. Beautiful paint and interior colors and finishes. Like the light detailing on the engine compartment.
  10. Beautiful paint finish and the colors and body trim are realistic looking. Like the well detailed wheels and tires along with the stance.
  11. Beautiful looking paint colors and finishes are nice and clean. Like the detailing on the engine along with the duel carbs.
  12. Good looking camper proportions. Wouldn't the roof design effect wind resistance at hiway speeds and low bridge clearance? like the fold down rear deck design.
  13. Great looking color.
  14. I agree with everyone else on the color and the smooth finish. Understand how you feel on the chrome foiling, I have to be in the zone when doing the foil trim. Better to take your time.
  15. Shame about your hood, bonnet, damage. Too many colors are distracting to the eye and while the red matches the interior, with the white painted portion, the roof becomes the focal point rather than the body. Consider painting the forward portion of the roof to match the body color and either a black or lighter shade of gray in a semi-gloss for the vinyl roof portion.
  16. You might want to share this information with the California DMV. You are correct about the plates assigned to the car in California. They are supposed to stay with the vehicle when it is sold within the state. Should the vehicle be sold to an out of state buyer things may be a little different. The DMV tries to keep a close watch on any dealers who are licensed within the state, and they can get pretty excited if a dealer doesn't follow their rules.
  17. Another "Smoke and mirrors" scheme.
  18. Thank you for sharing your pictures, looks like a great show.
  19. Like building models of previously owned cars and trucks or those of old friends or family. Seems to always bring back the pleasant memories associated with them.
  20. Great looking intake setup and finishes.
  21. This is my lovely bride's birthday this weekend. Yesterday we had dinner at our favorite BBQ restaurant with one of her brothers and his wife. Today we're going to our favorite Mexican restaurant. Tomorrow will be steaks on the barby and Monday it's back to the Gym for us both.
  22. So what time is dinner? I can bring the wine.
  23. Truly creative use of your parts stash. Fun looking at this and picking out where each part may have come from. With the paint work and how you fit everything it looks like you followed the instructions from one of the Charly Daniels kits of old.
  24. Great looking paint and body trim. Like the wheel & tire upgrades and the engine.
