  1. I'll wait for someone to post pictures of what is in the box before expressing an opinion. The box art looks good.
  2. I like the unusual looking paint treatment.
  3. Nice job on the chopped top. The hood looks much better your way than what Chevrolet did at the time. I like the wormed over 6.
  4. Great looking Bonniville. I like the interior and paint combination. You sometimes forget just how long these cars were.
  5. Beautiful looking Kustom. Your back dating is the look most often seen at many shows today.
  6. Beautiful looking color and paint finish. A lot of attention to detail under the hood.
  7. Beautiful looking Flames. Great interior and nicely detailed engine and chassis.
  8. Nice looking paint finish. Either color would work, they just have a different personality if that's possible for a paint color.
  9. I used to have P Plates on all of our vehicles at one time. Just doesn't seem as important anymore.
  10. Not sure how you can change it, but check in with site at the top of the forum. Therew is a section about how to use the forum and that should offer you some ideas as to how to change your posts.
  11. You might try talking to someone in the local DMV office and see if they might help you with the personalized plate issue. Every state seems to be a little different but most do offer personalized plates on pickups as well.
  12. Amazing looking build. You really captured the design and look of a bygone era. Enjoyed watching your build on this and all the creativity that went into it.
  13. Either color would look good, but I do like the Pearl Green.
  14. Gauges look great.
  15. Great looking mods. I like the engine that looks bigger than life.
  16. A couple of possible sources to consider: Revell '48 Ford coupe, '57 Ford Del Rio Wagon, Mustang notchback coupe was also offered as a CHP optional build. I have used the optional Fog Lights from the Galaxie '48 Chevrolet kit. As an Example, this is a '50 Olds kit I built as a CHP car.
  17. Sad to see the OEM colors from Model Master go away. They had great colors at a reasonable price. Whenever I stumble upon a can somewhere I just buy it with the thought that someday I would need it and not be able to find them at any price.
  18. You're being far to kind.
  19. Did your kit have the chopped hardtop? This and the '49 model are both one of my personal favorites so I always get real interested when someone is building one.
  20. Did you check and/or clean the battery terminals? The connection can be just a tad loose and make a connection intermittently as well.
  21. Great looking Cobra. I like the dash and engine details.
  22. This would make a great crusty kit bash.
  23. Local dealers just seem to order Crew Cabs for inventory anymore. Hard to sell what you don't stock, and most customer don't realize that the standard cab is even built anymore. Since the dealers aren't selling standard cabs, the factory is going to stop building them.
  24. I see you also are using the chopped windshield, are you going to use the Carson style top?
