  1. Beautiful looking paint finishes. I agree with you on your body mods, they look much better than the Elenore design. Great detailing on the engine also.
  2. The unusual color along with the great looking finish looks great. I like how cleanly you did all the trim. This is a very long-ago model and someting I noticed was that AMT put a clutch pedal on the floor.
  3. Thank you for sharing. Lots of nice-looking cars. About the unknown maroon Led Sled. The grill says '49 Ford, the Dash says '51 Ford, and the tail lights could be any '49 thru '51 Ford. Most are used to seeing the '51 Fords with the larger tail lights. Ford used a large trim piece to adapt the '51 tail lights over the earlier models. Manmy would remove the '561 trim from the tail lights preferring the smaller and cleaner looking lights from the earlier year models. What ever year it is it sure looks well done.
  4. Thank you for sharing. Lot of great looking cars and trucks. I like the covered parking areas, that has to be the premo parking spots.
  5. That's a good idea, I just didn't know if that was even an option for you. This way you'll be able to have an exact color match.
  6. Thank you for sharing your photos. You mention a lack of quantity of builds, but they didn't lack in quality.
  7. Beautiful looking finishes. Great clean body and trim details. I don't know how I missed this build before. I'm glad it popped up again.
  8. Beautiful looking color and paint finish. I like the chopped top and the up top option. Having the running boards and the top match always looks best.
  9. Look'n good. Relooking at the bed I'm going to have to check out HL for the materials you used here.
  10. Great looking conversion on this Ranchero. Getting the bed and especially the tail gate section to look correct can be trying and your tail gate looks just like the 1:1 to me. Have you found the paint you want to use for your build? I have built a few different models in this color range and would offer two colors to consider. Model Master #81444 Phoenician Yellow is almost a perfect match. The other is also Model Master #2909 Light Ivory. This color is a couple of shades lighter and is Enamel, but I had no drying problems when using it. Both may be getting hard to find.
  11. Very realistic detailing on the engine, look forward to seeing the body and interior.
  12. The kit boxes are something to consider keeping. I use one for the old instruction sheets. While I have a couple of plastic storage, mini storage drawer type units for extra parts, I also have a few boxes that I store larger extra parts and bodies. This last year we moved as it was time for use to downsize our home. I used a lot of paper towels and other types of padding to protect my finished models while using the now empty kit boxes.
  13. Since Revell is reissuing the '37 Ford pickup could the '37 Ford Delivery be in the works?
  14. Great looking pick up. I like the showroom build style. very clean looking details.
  15. Beautiful looking build. The paint looks amazing, and the contrasting interior and engine room looks more like the truck is the show vehicle than the trike.
  16. I agree with everyone else on the paint finish. I used to have a co-worker who had a high dollar restored '69 Boss 302 in the same color. Your build looks like a copy of his car.
  17. Beautiful looking paint color and a great finish. The interior looks nice and clean.
  18. I like the really sleek looking body lines.
  19. Great looking "Kit Car" from days of old.
  20. Beautiful looking finishes. I have never been a fan of the real long decals like this, but these look good.

    53 Corvette AMT

Looks great. Clean workmanship over comes the kits short comings.
  22. I agree with everyone else on the paint color and finish. Looks great and very fitting for a Camaro.
  23. I like how your interior and chassis has come together. You had mentioned a bright red color, and that would look great. I'm going to build one starting in a couple of weeks and use the one year only Evening Orchid color but with a black interior.
  24. I also like the interior. Having owned a few GM cars from this era I like seeing the OEM style shifter, I always liked the reverse lock-out feature. Carpet looks great. The seat pattern is 1965 but most would never even notice except an old rivet counter.
  25. This can depend on what retail hobby shops are in your area as well as craft stores such as Hobby Lobby and others. There are plenty of online shopping sites as well. I always try and attend any show/swap meets in the area as well. These seem the best for finding older out of production kits and you can usually inspect what's in the box before spending your hard-earned money.
