  1. My wife is still unable to explain the scratches on the top of the rear bumper just below the trunk lid. I just know that she will drag items out of the trunk across that are and or just rest anything going in or out of the trunk there. No matter how many times I explain what she is doing to her car she just says "Whatever" Good thing I love her because I would "strangle" anyone else that treats a vehicle in that manor.
  2. You just can't make these things up. My only question is where is her phone ?
  3. The side panels had had a fine line outlining the painted panel in the same color. The two fine lines along the top of the front fenders that end at the rear edge of the side window, they were an option. The Landau appearance package did include them but on the standard Monte Carlo they were an extra cost option. I'm glad to see the "Sport Mirrors" on this build as they seem to look the best. This was a time when cars were ordered more alacarte than the trim and interior packages of today. The Monte Carlo had 4 different styles of rear view mirrors at that time. The Sport Mirrors on your build would have been standard on the Landau only and extra cost on any other model. The long front end on these cars gave you the feeling like you were driving from the back seat. As big as they were they were a good handling car.
  4. So many cries for attention. Begs the question, how is the handling effected by cross winds on the highway ??
  5. Sounds like this isn't the first time she has done something like this. Hope the Authorities are able to make the last.
  6. On the wheels, the original kit has a set of deep set dish-slotted wheels. The reissue may have these wheels so all you would need is some plan wheel centers. Just cutout the center section and add the wheel lug pattern centers in their place.
  7. Beautiful looking build. Since I worked for a Chevrolet dealer at that time this is like a flash back, this is just what it would have looked like.
  8. Glad to see your back at your work bench again. Beautiful color and the finish is really smooth looking. I like the mild custom look here.
  9. Outstanding engine details along with the chassis. Beautiful looking paint finish and all the chrome trim is really clean looking.
  10. There you go, supper clean looking.
  11. Many manufactures and in turn buyers seem obsessed with spoilers on all sorts of vehicles. #1 as Ace has pointed out most if not 99.9 % never could or will achieve a speed where they would be effective even if they ran off of a 10 story building. #2 While I have no verifiable facts, it Is my opinion that if anything the so called spoilers create more drag than they do done force. This is more of a styling Q that even Mini Van buyers seem drawn to.
  12. Very clean looking truck and the color looks great.
  13. Great looking finish on this. I like the touch of chrome and the new stance.
  14. Great looking shinny finish. This must be the latest in the families line of Chevrolet pickups and they even went for the Chyanne trim this time.
  15. Love it. Looks like it gets parked next to the other two.
  16. This looks like the truck your '66 replaced. Great looking finish.
  17. This is an impressive looking finish. This truck looks like it gets parked under the tree out back and the only time it gets washed is if it rains. Travels mainly on gravel or dirt roads. That type of finish isn't easy to do.

I like the strong looking paint color and the finish. The interior looks very rich with the exterior color.
  19. Beautiful looking build, like it's siting on the showroom floor. You right about those mirrors.. They're a bear to even glue the face to the stem and that part is the wrong size anyway.
  20. Very impressive looking paint finish and color. I like the way you used different shades of color on the chassis and the exhaust is laid out nicely.
  21. Great looking paint finish and color. Very clean looking build overall.
  22. Great looking work truck, the problem is it looks far to nice to put to work. The paint is beautifully finished and is a good looking color. Great chassis detailing.
  23. Beautiful looing finish on this build. The attention to the engine details is outstanding.
  24. Very nice shine.
  25. This interior looks great as is. The picture Dr.Larry posted is the color option I mentioned before. I would just stay with the Rally Wheels as they were very popular, and you have them.
