The side panels had had a fine line outlining the painted panel in the same color. The two fine lines along the top of the front fenders that end at the rear edge of the side window, they were an option. The Landau appearance package did include them but on the standard Monte Carlo they were an extra cost option. I'm glad to see the "Sport Mirrors" on this build as they seem to look the best. This was a time when cars were ordered more alacarte than the trim and interior packages of today. The Monte Carlo had 4 different styles of rear view mirrors at that time. The Sport Mirrors on your build would have been standard on the Landau only and extra cost on any other model. The long front end on these cars gave you the feeling like you were driving from the back seat. As big as they were they were a good handling car.
