  1. I like the Monte Carlo or Camaro factory mags.
  2. Great looking longroof. How did you add the tailgate moldings ?
  3. Thats about as nice as it gets. I like how you made the roof and windows fit so nice. Great detailing everywhere you look.
  4. Looks great, realy used and abused.
  5. Great looking build. You wouldn't happen to be a Mopar fan?
  6. Looks amazing.
  7. I'm a Chevy kind of guy, but you have also got to respect a light Mustang or even the Plymouth Duster if built right. Any one of these would work. Just a thought on the Joker Goon Car. There is a group of racers from Mo. who have been featured in Hot Rod magazine that show up every year at the annual drag contest with some old rusted four door that thay have drugout of a field somewhere. Their lateest was a Pontiac ( I think it was a '59), The picture in Hot Rod shows it off the line with daylight under both front tires. Just a thought.
  8. Does Home Land Securty knows that you are giveing out the guarded information.
  9. Hard to tell it isn"t real. Very nice.

    1941 Willys

Like the paint. The blue is realy interesting for something I've been thinking about. Could you share what you used ?
  12. Good lookinf build. Please keep posting pictures.
  13. A Cuda would be cool. As an aside, I read in the business section of the paper this morning abour Chrysler and Fiat. As you may know Fiat bought controling intrest in Chrysler a few years ago as they were going under. As of the first quarter of 2012, Chrysler posted greater earnings than Ford or GM. In fact Fiat lost millions in europe but posted several million in earnings and an over all profit based on Chrysler's earnings. So if it had not been for Chrysler, Fiat would have been in real trouble. Just food for thought.
  14. While I think that a lot of us would like to have this kited, It still might not make economic sense for anyone to make it. To bad, I'd realy like to play with one of these.
  15. One of my old "running buddies" bought a '60 impala in the mid '60s from the original owner. It was silver with a white side stripe. The interior was red and white houndstooth. Engine was a 348, single four barrel and a 3 speed on the colume. Very nice car until a drunken tree walked out in front of him one night. Ah youth. He was not hurt, but learned a very big lesson. The Impala went to the big parking lot in the sky.
  16. Really great looking Nova. Just my 2 cents on this hose issue. I belive that the hose on the front of the intake manifold is for the water pump bypass. The bypass hose should go from the front of the intake to the top of the water pump where the other heater hose is now mounted. As I recall the heater hose is attached to the intake manifold just to the passanger side from the top radiator hose. The other heater hose is attached to the water pump just above the lower radiator hose. Maybe you can look at a 1:1 car magazine or a shop manual to verify. Looking forward to seeing this all trimed out. SS or sleeper?

    1966 Nova Wagon

Very nice ! The roof looks better on your Nova than it did in the Revelle kit on the Nomad.
  18. Hi Travis, Ihave had good luck with a liquid pencil from Prismacolor. If you have a Hobby Lobby or an Office Depot either one would carry them. They also are made in other colors. Also have used Bare-Metal foil. Good luck
  19. Good looking build. Keep the pictures comeing.
  20. Eric, As with any paint that you may have not used before, try some scrape or spruce first to make sure that would not damage the plastic. I had a bad experiance with what I belive may be the HOK spray cans you may be looking at. I had perchased the paints at "wally world" and it turned out to be very "HOT" and ruined the body I was painting eventhough it had been primered. Good Luck
  21. Revell has a reissue '79 Camaro that make a good body to work with.
  22. Spent over 30 years of my life in california, the last 13 yrs in the Sacto. area. The differance between an Earthquake and a Tornado is: In an Earth Quake all your stuff is under the rubble in one spot. In a Tornado your stuff is in the next county. In the last Earthquake when I lived in Sacramento was when the World Series was in San Francisco. Lost almost half the water in my pool. Trust me when you see or hear a Tornado the hair on the back of your neck will standup.
  23. To good to be true, this always happens to someone else. How come I never find deals like this.
  24. I think it is unusual that the paint would still be good. Not so much from the age, if the pressure had held. From what I have heard, paint exsposed to very low temps will degrade over time. You were truely lucky.
  25. Nice save.
