  1. Looks like a Mustang AND fits with Ford's corporate design ethic. I like it.
  2. I recently acquired one of my grail kits, the Revell Ridge Runner set with a Ford Courier, trailer, and early-model Honda Odyssey FL250 ATV. I'm excited to build the Odyssey and trailer for use with another tow vehicle, but before I build it I was wondering if there are any resin casters that would be interested in adding the Odyssey (and maybe trailer?) to their inventory? I would ship the parts to you for you to make the molds and afterwards you would ship the original parts back. I might also be interested in a casting or two. Any takers?
  3. The AMT (ex-MPC) engine is pretty good for a representation of a 351M. The only better example you'll find is either the AMT 79 Bronco or the AMT Econoline van (most recently reissued as the Phantom).
  4. In which section of Michaels does one find flocking? I've looked through my local store many times and can't seem to find any...
  5. "...and for the first time an independant rear suspension." This author seems to have forgotten about the 1999-2004 SVT Cobra Mustangs...
  6. The were apparently test shots at the iHobby show but no updates on release date that I've seen so far.
  7. At some point in the cycle the rear window was changed. The blue truck with the BBS wheels has a small back window while the 1995 issue with the red truck has a big back window. I think that issue also has both the stock and drop front axles in it, but only stock wheels.
  8. I LOVED MacGuyver when I was a kid, during its original run. My brother and I would always scoot up to the TV when it was on, I even used to tell the barber I wanted a MacGuyver haircut. For some reason I have yet to buy the DVD sets....someday.
  9. Love the body, could use Coyote power, though.
  10. I'm currently reading Shakespeare's Star Wars: Verily, A New Hope. It's a hoot for someone like me that loves Star Wars and has acted in Shakespeare plays.
  11. Harry, I'm not sure if this forum supports it or even if it is desirable to TPTB, but I have seen other forum software that can leave a link inte original posted location directing folks to the new topic location. Possible?
  12. I don't know, but that front clip looks fibreglass to me. The body shell actually appears to be one piece; I can't see a parting line where a seperate fender should.
  13. Did Ford offer dually beds for dentsides or are they all aftermarket conversions? :I wondered that when watching episodes of Trucks! with Project Super Dually, which has the same fender extensions as this example. The fender extensions look similar to Courier stepside fenders...
  14. I really dislike the prices he sets for all of his parts, but there were times when I've considered paying his prices simply because he was the only source. Thankfully I managed to find parts kits for the bits I was looking for at a fraction of the price.
  15. Hope that Fall Guy didn't set you back too much.
  16. For inspiration look into the GMC V12, which was almost two V6 engines sharing one block. Lots of common components with the V6 engines and I think dual distributors.
  17. I can't say for the others but the Cougar's box was the same box board as regular model boxes. At least, the one I have is.
  18. I've never trusted plastic idlers, and I never will. I can never forgive them...for the death of my belt.
  19. I rarely purchase parts from brick-and-mortar stores anymore. If I do, it is the one that has the cheapest whatever it is I'm looking for. Far more economical for me to order the parts online, ship it to my US PO box, and drive 1.5 hours to pick it up than it is to buy local!
  20. Nine speed transmission? But I would have to say that for today's markets, this is exactly what is needed. You have to go up to something based on a full-sized pickup to get a serious SUV these days with everything else being based on a car platform. All Jeep's competitors in this size range are similar, based on a mid-sized car. Can't blame them for wanting to complete appropriately.
  21. I'd love to have those two kits: the 88 to make Sheriff Harry S. Truman's Bronco from Twin Peaks and the 92 to make Sheriff Longmire's Bronco.
  22. Have you tried Rock Auto?
  23. Airfix-branded Fall Guy:
  24. The Hollies have a deeper offset and different slot sizes also. Look at the pictures side-by-side and you'll see the differences.
  25. My uncle once had a 78 Bronco with the same colour combination and a white top. Looking good!
