  1. Thanks much Carl ! Thanks Larry ! Thanks you Chris ! Thanks very much Peter !
  2. Absolutely beautiful ! That's a body style that's easy to not like unless you have a sentimental connection to one . . . my Dad bought one new , a red convertible . I was only 4 or 5 but remember that car well .
  3. Nice work on the door and rear panel . I agree that it does look better than Revell's early versions , the fact that it's a diecast makes it even more impressive !
  4. Thanks much Glenn ! Don't know if they all had green logos on the center caps but I had a set that did , thanks for noticing .
  5. Thanks very much guys !
  6. Thanks much guys !
  7. That is super nice ! I like that you saved it instead of rebuilding it into something new and the chrome reverse wheels are the perfect upgrade while still being able to display it as a survivor .
  8. Great colors ! Looks like you managed to get the glass to fit just fine .
  9. Very nicely done ! Looks like you've got these kits figured out .
  10. Thanks JC ! Ooooo I 'd love to have one of those ! Thanks Dennis !
  11. Thanks Peter ! Thanks ! I scratchbuilt the hinges . Thanks Tommy ! Those are the chrome headlights with a little clear/white mix brushed over them . Very hard to get the right mix , I redid them several times .
  12. Thanks very much guys !
  13. Beautiful ! Your choice of colors seems perfect for this car , plus it's a super clean build . Great job !
  14. Nicely done Pat , you'e got a great collection started there !
  15. Thanks much Roger ! Yes there was some interference but not too bad , I ground down the top side of the chassis to get it to fit .
  16. Thanks guys !
  17. Love the colors on this , another beauty Jim !
  18. Beautiful AAR 'Cuda !
  19. Great custom work and paint !
  20. Thanks very much Steve ! I'll probably do something quick and easy next . . .
  21. Thanks ! Thank you ! Thanks , I agree !
  22. Thanks Lee ! The T-Bolt chassis has the correct wheelbase but is a bit too wide . I took 1/16 inch off both sides at the rocker panels and and ground a considerable amount off the rear wheel tubs and towards the rear of the chassis , after that it fit like a glove .
  23. Thanks guys !
  24. Original AMT '63 Fairlane kit using a Revell T-Bolt chassis , 289 HiPo engine from an AMT '67 Shelby GT-350 , wheels & tires from Revell '32 5-window , and miscellaneous bits and pieces from my parts bin or scratchbuilt . Paint is '63 Ford Glacier Blue from AutomotiveTouchup.com . All comments are welcome , thanks for looking !
  25. Great looking Fairlane ! So refreshing to see one that's not a T-Bolt .
