Sharp looking Bug ! Always liked your style of build and enjoy seeing new stuff from your bench .
  6. Thanks !
  7. Great save and a really great look ! Nice work !
  8. Thanks much Cliff !
  9. Fun little version of the Baja Bandito ! It started with a rare resin body from "The Good Stuff" , it's one of only two ever cast . Wheels & tires , blower & scoop , and zoomie headers are from my parts box . Bumpers and roof racks are 1/16" aluminum rod . Headlights , peace emblem , and surfboards were made from scratch . Paint is Tamiya TS-31 Bright Orange and the windows are clear plastic tinted with Tamiya Clear Red . Homemade decals are patterned after the original Baja Bandito decals . A fun and quick project , hope you like it !
  10. This is my favorite of all your Hudson models , excellent !
  11. Well done ! I like that these aren't plastic .
  12. Wow these are great , would love to see more !
  13. Very clean and nicely done !
  14. Here is the four part article published in 1969 by Car Model Magazine , Jim Keeler built this Dodge Fever II specifically as a WIP for the magazine . This really shows how much work went into building the winning model and why it's always considered one of benchmark models of all time . https://public.fotki.com/TooOld/models/misc-/magazine-articles/dodge-fever-ii-wip-/
  15. Here's the magazine article with Jim Keeler's Dodge in it . I also have the build articles but will have to dig them out . https://public.fotki.com/TooOld/models/misc-/magazine-articles/car-model-dodge-contest/
  16. I moved the generator because of clearance issues , I knew somebody would say something .
  17. Thanks ! My hands aren't as steady as they were a couple of years ago but I figured I'd give it a try . Luckily it's all black !
  18. Not getting much bench time this year but I managed to finish the engine for my '63 Fairlane .
  19. Great looking '73 Cutlass ! I agree that larger wheels can look much better than stock but 17" maybe 18" is the limit for me .
  20. Nice find and save , that's a nice addition to any shelf !
  21. Nicely done , love a convertible SS !
  22. Love the custom work you did on this good ol' '55 , and that metallic purple paint is a blast from the past ! Definitely "Top Shelf" !
  23. 100% improvement with the new wheels/tires and lowered ride height ! I agree with Snake that a little color on the wheels would make a difference .
  24. Very well done ! Your paint and those decals look great !
  25. Wow I haven't seen one of these built since I did one waaaay back when . Looks great , Good job Ray !
