The younger guys may not get it but all of us older members can appreciate the significance of this calendar .

Over the weekend I did one final fit of the body-windshield-interior to the finished chassis before paint . As usual it took some trimming to get everything to fit .

In the early 80's I worked at my brother-in-laws body shop and we built a '74 MK IV as a shop project , a Hot Rod Lincoln type of car . I just got this resin kit and am planning to build a scale version of it ! Also bought these two '66 Chevy Panel Vans 'cause they were priced really cheap , not sure what I'll do with them .

Over the weekend I finally finished the engine compartment for my '63 Fairlane . My bench time is down to only a couple hours a week so progress is painfully slow , almost a month just on this .

JC they aren't that hard to make . I carved these out of a piece of balsa wood , applied a skim coat of polyester putty , sanded and primed them . Maybe a couple hours total .
