  1. Thanks Bruce !
  2. Thanks much Dennis !
  3. The Tom Daniel trio : Boss A Bone , Son Of Ford , and SweeTee . And the original Monogram kits : Blue Beetle , Little Deuce , and Little T .
  4. It's been a while since I've posted anything here but the last month or so I've been restoring this old survivor of mine . I actually disassembled it a few years ago but never got any further .Now it's restored and built completely box stock except for the tire lettering decals from Fireball Modelworks and a home made license plate , and I modified the front for poseable steering . The plastic has been polished and cleared , the rest was painted to match the box art . This is what I started with . I decided not to use the decals . . . definitely 70's but a little too much for my taste . The finished chassis . Some more finshed photos .
  5. Thanks Ken ! I've got plans for a couple of them .
  6. I know absolutely nothing about military type models but I like this one , big guns are great ! Nice job .
  7. Pretty cool looking model , it makes a great display piece ! And great paint work too !
  8. Thanks ! No it's not the same driver , and the helmet is molded on .
  9. Great looking Digger , don't see these built very often ! Great paint work , love the skull 'n' bones and those wild eyes !
  10. Thanks Much ! They're not for everybody but I've liked them since they first appeared in the early 70's
  11. Thanks ! They're available for pre-order at Tower Hobbies .
  12. Thanks very much ! Must have been hard to let a collection like that go , but at least it went to a good home instead of the landfill .
  13. With the reissue due out in a few months I decided it was time to restore one I've had rattling around in a box for years . It's completely box stock except for some plug wires and home made decals . Now I have a stock build to display next to the heavily modified reissue I have planned . This is what I started with . The body was cleaned , polished , and cleared . I detailed the engine . And printed some duplicates of the original decals .
  14. The Good Stuff was Jim's company name .
  15. His name is Jim Johnson and he stopped selling a couple of years ago . Last conversation I had with him he has no desire to start up again .

  18. NICE !!
  19. Beautiful build and absolutely awesome detailing ! So many great details to marvel at but the one that struck me is the radiator , very realistic right down to the solder on the top tank !
  20. Very very cool build Bernard , one of your best ! I enjoyed following the build too , I always learn a thing or two .
  21. Excellent work and a very cool color ! Using parts from the Torino GT is definitely the way to build one of these .
