  1. Great looking builds Jesse , and a really nice job on that trailer !
  2. Great color on a great looking model ! Nicely done .
  3. It's Alcad II Chrome . I did have an issue while spraying so it's not the best , should have more shine when done right .
  4. Thanks , and yes it does ! I've got a few more left to play with .
  5. Thanks much guys !
  6. This is a restoration of an original Monogram Little Deuce using 99% of the original parts and original decals . The only non original parts are the resin cast headlight lenses and the soft top bows . Fun kit to restore and it's my "one and only" finished build for 2016 ! These next photos show what I started with . More finished photos . . .
  7. Great box art build , nicely done !
  8. Looks like I finished one for 2016 ! Photos "Under Glass" soon .
  9. Thanks Pat !
  10. Mixing at least 2 oz doesn't make much sense to me and the directions on the can seem a bit vague too , the thinner the part the more catalyst it takes . I mixed 1/2 oz with 8 drops of catalyst and the lenses seemed to cure but stayed flexible , so I did it a second time with 10 drops to 1/2 oz of resin and it did the trick . . . but it did take several hours for them to harden . Next time I'll probably try 12 drops of catalyst . I was going to ask you how you poured the resin into such a small part , never thought about using a syringe .
  11. Thanks Doug !
  12. Very cool , another survivor gets dusted off ! And you can't beat a Cobra !
  13. Neat ! Very clean and well detailed , and the colors are perfect !
  14. Both look great ! Something about that sport roof on the Galaxie just screams cool !
  15. The Amazing Mold Putty is from Alumilite but you can get it at Hobby Lobby and Hobby Town . It's mixed just like epoxy putty and sets up in about 10 minutes , great for quicky molds of small parts . The Clear Casting resin usually sets up in about 15-20 minutes but with a thin part like these lenses it takes quite a bit longer .
  16. Thanks Mark !
  17. Thanks Dan ! They are basic kits compared to newer offerings but you can't beat the look ! The Early Iron '32 will look great with the wheels & tires from the Li'l Coffin .
  18. That's really sharp looking , it deserves a make over !
  19. Bumpers installed and the interior is painted .
  20. There are probably more but it's the first one I've seen too !
  21. Thanks !
  22. And the Classic Cruiser with a Blue car on the box .
