Great looking model Rob , the satin finish really looks good on this one ! I also like the idea of installing the Chevy 6 cylinder , with white plug wires no less . Very cool !
Excellent job recreating a cool model from the past ! I had to hunt for the build on your Fotki page but found it and can see you did some great body work to get it right . Congrats !
Really nice job on your Charger , clean and nicely detailed ! Nothing wrong with using paint you have on hand even if the colors may not be factory correct , there's plenty of real cars on the road that aren't painted original colors . I like it !
I'm guessing it's the Acme 3-Window Diecast kit , it's 1/18 scale and has over 300 pieces .
It was in MCM #167 .

That's a really nice looking Tiger , one of the nicest I've seen ! The one thing that caught my eye was the rollbar placement , but I understand your reason for moving it back . . . and it doesn't affect the overall look . Great job !
Here's a link to the Rod & Custom article . It's pretty well done and could easily be updated by using newer donor kits . . . say an Accurate Miniatures Gran Sport Corvette .

The December 1966 Rod & Custom had that article . It may have been in one of the model mags too but I've never seen it . If anyone is interested I can scan the article and post a link .
Joseph also has these same wheels in a slightly larger 1/24th size (U.S. Indy Mags) . You can mix them for a big & little set . http://www.fireballmodels.info/ These are beautiful wheels and the service is excellent !
