As a wagon guy my heart skipped when I saw your build ! Beautiful 2 door wagon and the camper is pretty awesome too ! You've outdone yourself this time , great job . . . . too bad GM stopped making the 2 - door Chevelle wagon in '65 . The '66 - '67 is a much prettier body style !

An old CD works perfect . And you have to use acrylic paint ! Go to Michaels and by a small bottle of artist's acrylic paint for about $2 bucks and use very thin coats on the CD . If it doesn't look right on your tire just wipe it off with a wet cloth and try again . Sometimes I'll do a tire 5 or 6 times before I like it . Practice , practice , practice !!!

That's looking really good Tim ! I really like what you're doing . I thought there was a font like that in MS Word ( I used it on my McLaren build ) but I don't recall the name . Dave Van is a member here , look him up in the members list . By the way . . . I've always felt that Elmo deserves a spot in the Hall Of Fame for all the years spent racing and driving the pace car . I talked with him a few times and he was a great guy ! Same goes for Harold Kinder .

Back then there wasn't much news from home so when I got back to the states and saw all of them I couldn't believe how bad they were ! Now I really love 'em , guess they grow on you !
