  1. Beautiful model and excellent detailing ! Looks like it has everything you'd need except maybe a cot under the bench so you can steal a few winks . I bet one day you'll have the real thing , good luck !
  2. Very well deserved Ira ! I'm not so sure about " Outrageous " but it sure is a beautiful model !
  3. The little coupe is neat , is it from HLJ ?
  4. It doesn't look too bad on that rear window but it's definitely too thick for the windshield frame . And it doesn't have much of a shine to it and I doubt it would conform to irregular shapes like the BMF in the photo below !
  5. Excellent work , love the colors !
  6. Finally , a Fox body Mustang I really like ! Very cool Greg ! Thanks Jim . The engine has parts from several different kits ( I just counted eight ! ) plus a resin tranny . The headers are from the revel '69 Z28 .
  7. Thought I'd bring up this old thread and show you the engine for my latest project . It's a 327 Chevy with an auto trans . Everybody should spend a few minutes and take a look at all the great engines posted here , and post some new ones !
  8. I'm always amazed when I see one of these little kits built and detailed by you , I bet some looking at it don't even realize what scale it is ! Beautiful work !
  9. Looks like it might have been a Sunbeam Tiger ? The other two are pretty cool , especially the Futura with the Vette roof !
  10. Ambassadors are great looking cars and yours is gorgeous !!
  11. Very , very nice ! Excellent work with a so - so kit . . . one of the best I've seen !

Great job Jim , it looks much better in blue than the one on the box !
  13. I agree completely . And you cut the decal at the panel lines !! Great job !
  14. Try using the " More Reply Options " and then follow Gregg's instructions . Or it could be a compatibility problem ( most likely ) . Click the little blue box next to the refresh icon .
  15. It's a MEL engine ( Mercury , Edsel , Lincoln ) introduced the same time as the FE engine . It's 430 Cubic inches .
  16. Beautiful ! Great looking paint and detailing . Did you add the filters inside the scoop or were they in the kit ?
  17. Now that is a very sharp looking model , excellent work !
  18. Took the words right out of my mouth ! The wash on all of the parts really brings out the details and makes a huge difference !
  19. I had to look since I don't remember the last time I saw you build a Cobra ! That kit looks very nicely detailed for a 1/43 scale kit . I've never seen one before , would you consider doing a review of it with some more photos ?
  20. Beautiful ! You really improved the look of this one ( I love Dusters ! ) .
  21. Cool ! I love models of cars we've owned or still own .
  22. Wow that's nice ! Is it a JoHan or resin ?
  23. Lookin' good Mike !
  24. You're right , it is each persons opinion as to the correct ride height . But the kit manufacturers( Revell ) usually get it wrong ! I think they know about it but can't justify the cost of a tooling change for something that is so easily changed by the builder . It's just like tossing the same old tires into every kit they make , although this is beginning to change recently .
  25. This kit can be built " stock " or custom , I'm sure the '69 kit can be too .
