  1. I like what you're doing here . Pretty sharp ! I was at my LHS today and they had two sets of those rims . One chrome and one gold . Now that I see them on a build I might go back and grab them .
  2. I spent a little time over the weekend and set the body on the chassis to set the ride height . The rear is stock and the front was lowered by flipping the spindles . I was hoping it would be lower , but it looks okay . Stock height would have been terrible ! The wheels and tires are from the 'cuda kit . I gave the wheels a wash with Black Detailer and a coat of dullcoat . the chrome is very thin and peeled right of with masking tape , so I touched up the rims with Chrome Silver . The redlines are stickers . The interior is pretty much finished . Just need to adjust the fit of the side panels . I tried BMF on the trim , but I just don't have the knack for it yet , so I used my trusty old brush . Any comments ? I've never spent much time on interiors , so I'm learning here . Next , I can get back to the body work and paint . Then I can set that Hemi in there and finish it up ! BOB.
  3. I missed the Vette , but I'll be watching this one . Your mods to the body are awesome !

    corvette

That's one sweet Corvette ! The level of detail is great . How long ago did you build it , and hve you finished anything since ?
  5. I'm also a Chevy guy . But I like all brands of cars and currently drive a Toyota daily and an El Camino for fun ! Chris , Very nice looking Camaro . The stance is perfect . And the engine looks great ! But if it were mine I think I'd scrape off the Toyota sticker .
  6. I never get tired of looking at your builds . This Hemi Dart is my favorite ! Maybe you can do something about the mold line running around the tread of the front tires . . . Just something I notice every time I look at the photo . Looking forward to seeing more of your work . BOB.
  7. Hey Corey , That's one beautiful Charger ! I'm still amazed at the level of detail you're capable of . And welcome to this forum ! Things move pretty fast here , so there is always something new to admire . BOB.

  21. A few more .
  22. These are photos of a model I built back in the 80's . It was built using the Dukes of Hazzard kit . The nose and wing are balsa wood and everything else was made just using stuff I had around the house . I don't remember what paint was used , but it was never clear coated . No decals either , it is all hand painted . I also modified the chassis so the body could be removed for display . I used an article in Circle Track as a guide for this model . Thanks for looking . BOB.
