  2. One more and you will have an even dozen ! I have about 55 unbuilt Shelby Cobra kits so we have the same problem ???
  3. Can't make fun of that Palmer kit. Nicely done.
  4. Looks great ! I really love those wheels.
  5. This is going to be one fine model ! Actually it already is.

  11. Slick, I like it.
  12. Yes indeed ! Info on the Pitts please.
  13. Color in my pics is off . Hope this one is better . It is a bright white .
  14. Some critics look down their noses on this line of Cobra kits . I will have to agree that they are not the best and are not without problems . I honestly don’t believe they are as bad as some would have you believe . Look at these pics . Does it look like a Cobra . My workmanship may not be the best but for me , it looks ok . I tried to copy the best I could on the photos I posted . I made the two front splitters with sheet plastic as well as the rear diffuser under the rear of the body . I cut down the windshield and frame . The body is painted with Tamiya Pearl White and Tamiya red and green stripes . Body was then cleared . Tire decals from Gofer were used . Do not match photo of real car but I could not find any . I made ( for the first time ) a hinge for the trunk because none is included in the kit . It is clumsy and oversize but the next one will be better . Hope you like it and are not yet sick of seeing Cobras !
  15. Model is done . Pics in the Under Glass section soon
  16. That is the wagon kit that was my first model ! I think my second was a model of a submarine ( George Washington ? ) It had a removable side section if I remember right.
  17. Looks like it has a great finish .
  18. Working on the Fujimi Cobra. It has separate trunk but no hinge. It has some funky C shaped things that are called out to go under the body but no way is it or will it ever be a hinge. So, for the first time ever I decided to try and make one with what I had on hand. Using a paperclip and some plastic tube I was able to fashion a hinge and it works ! It is clumsy and too large but for a first attempt I can live with it. The arms that go to the trunk should just been glued to the trunk but I put them in plastic tubing. Need not to have done that.
  19. May have been a 57 ??
  20. I think my first model was the Revell 59 Ford wagon. No windows as I recall.
  21. Got 650 for it when I sold it a long time ago. My dad bought it or me as I was too young as I recall as a b-day gift. I was stupid to let it go.
  22. Wow ! Great looking model.
  23. Darn I wish I could see the pics.
