Thanks guys. I would never do anything like this to a "real" Cobra but it's a 20 dollar kit so ? Plus I have as most of you know over 750 Cobra's in my collection and I need a few that are different from the crowd. ?
One of my favorite old kits. I have used that chassis on many models. i have never used the headers in the kit I always find some gasser headers that work. I will be checking in. Good luck with model.
I found a photo on the net of a Cobra I liked . I decided to build one taking some cues from that car but not trying to make a replica of it . I made all 4 flairs using sheet plastic and then molding . Wheels and tires from the parts box . Model Car Garage billet rear wing . Sheet plastic front spoiler . Roll bar from the parts box . Paint is Short Cuts flat black . Good paint for parts but am not happy with using it for an entire body . Flat red was used on the interior .
My wife is one of those people watchers. Magazines, TV shows, and specials, award shows. She goes in another room to watch so I don't care. Then I can watch all the car shows I record ! Win, win ! ?
My irk. I, like a lot of you search ebay in the model kit section looking for another kit you don't really need. Just now I was on the look out for something and as in the past I had to go through 15 pages of die cast vehicles to reach the kits. There is a section for die cast so why are they here ? Sending a message to ebay is a waste of time. I even sent a message to the person who seems to be doing 90 percent of these listings and he/they do respond with an I didn't know. Bologna !
Being a sucker for the unusual stuff I came across this resin kit . They are calling it a Sea Car and was wondering if anyone knows about this . Was/is a replica of something real ? Just made up by someone ? Thx
