The show Custom Garage just used some of his metal flake on one of Ian's wild VWtrike. I went to the website and it seemed kit prices were between 50 and 70 bucks. As been said the flake may be too large but I am interested in the pearls. I may buy a kit after the holiday. If so I will give a report.

You got farther along than I did with this kit.

Caught an episode of this show last weekend . Some pretty interesting models and some good detailing . Caught pics of these cars . Monogram T Bird ??? Seem to use a lot of AMT kits and Johan as well .

Speaking of wives..... I bough a brand new black Ranger GT in 87. Left it home and went to work in our other car. Wife was not working at the time and decided to surprise me and wash the Ranger. When I got home I was shocked ! It looked like she washed it with a Brillo pad ! Swirls all in that black paint. I worked and worked on that truck and finally took it in for a good detail. Never did get it back all the way but much better. Oh and yes, we are still married.
