  1. That will be cool. Interesting Dodge van in the background.
  2. I would like to see more two piece wheels so it is easy to have a chrome rim with a colored center. Some kits do have these but I would like to see more.
  3. Chassis pretty much done. Body is painted , decals applied and clear coated . Drying now so maybe I can finish this one up in 3 days ?? That’s quick for me and I think less than 3 or 4 hours work not counting drying time .
  4. Very cool and the paint is Fantastic ! Monogram has an Austin ?
  5. Here as an example is their 1/12 scale Mustang . Overall not too bad but as Rex has said the engine is not very detailed . This kit at one time had a motor and working lights . This kit did not have those features .
  6. Very shop model.
  7. Thanks Bob, I am enjoying this simple kit after the big GT 40.
  8. Body painted purple . Grandson picked color out . Now some decals and clear !
  9. Thank you very much Thomas .
  10. Great save looks good.
  11. Lots of work but I think it paid off. Coming along nicely !
  12. Well , after fighting that 1/12 scale GT 40 I needed something easy to work on . I figured I can’t get something much more easy than one of these . I will give it to my grandson . Tamiya white primer on the body . Have not decided on a color . Decals on the tires . I will not be using the kit decals . Not a bad little kit for what it is . Simple and uncomplicated . Just what I needed.
  13. Good looking Mustang ! I have to agree with Rex about the spoiler. Don't hate it but the car would be much cleaner without it IMO.
  14. Thank you all for the positive comments. They mean a lot to me.
  15. Thanks Rex. Yes, all the IMC kits were tough to build. These are great photos. Gary sent me a thumb drive that had a lot of good pics that really helped but these show a little more detail.
  16. Nice Cobra Bruce. Was that a hint for me ? I plan/hope to start mine before years end. If not it will be after Christmas.
  17. I would like to thank you all for your kind words. That kit sure was a struggle for me.
  18. Yes it is but at a much lower price point.
  19. Great looking model.
  20. Not bad at all.
  21. Thanks Larry. I put in wrong place would someone be kind enough to move to correct section, Thanks
  22. Never before was I so happy to finish up a kit . So, here it is such as it is . Very disappointed it this kit and myself . I think in the hands of a better builder this could be really nice . Got the fit as best I could but not very happy with the results . Not all my colors are correct . Painted Tamiya yellow TS-16 . Duplicolor 1K clear . I used Indycals for the number 8 car . Lots of chrome was either removed or coated with a dull coat spray . Couple things still need to be done but finished for the most part . I have to order some Goodyear tire decals as the transfers included in the kit did just not work . Lastly I need to finish the hood pins . I need to add the wire and clips . First I have to find where I put them for safe keeping ! Front and rear panels are not hinged . They fit much worse when hinged . Still it will look pretty cool in the cabinet .
