  1. Cool, Snake.... you got it! Typical of music nowadays...
  2. You could have a steam train, if you'd just lay down your tracks, You could have an aero-plane flying, if you'd bring your blue sky back.......
  3. Tyler, here's one you might get.... "If I'm out hunting, come right on in, yea, 'Cause even when I'm gone, my doors are always open, and If I'm asleep, make sure my blanket covers me, yea......."
  4. Thank you, fellas...... I think the next one I'll put a V8 in.
  5. Thanks, guys... I appreciate it!
  6. That second one sounds almost like a ZZ Top song.........
  7. Here's the Thunderbird all done! I had a heck of a time with the headlights, the only part that gave me any trouble. This is a really good kit...... Thanks for looking folks! and please feel free to comment.......
  8. Thanks, fellas!
  9. Thank You, Michelle!
  10. Got this one finished up, Guys! It's Revell's excellent kit of the Viper GTS....... I wanted mine to be a bit different than the blue and white box art. The only issue I had building it was with the side mirror placement. Next one, I'll put the mirrors on before any painting is done....... There's a WIP thread for those interested. Thanks for looking, and please comment freely!
  11. Cool, Thanks fellas...... I've seen around that this is a pretty good kit. Plans call for the mild custom treatment...
  12. Cool, Thank you, sir!
  13. Is there any word when this is due out? What do you guys think it will be priced at? This will most likely be my next project if it's to be released soon.......
  14. Thank you, fellas! I really got into this project, sadly it's almost done....... I wanted to detail the engine some, so I put in the PCV return line, power brake vacuum and throttle cables. and have pretty much finished the exterior! I decided instead of ruining things trying to put decals down the backside, I would just have them running down the nose...... All that's left is to paint and install the side mirrors, and place a couple logo decals, then it's on to under glass! Thanks for looking and comment freely.........
  15. Anything beats getting flipped off!
  16. I agree with Leslie about using foil for the body. Any kind of paint you use runs the risk of rubbing off as you handle it....
  17. Tom, that looks really good. You should be able to use a pump-up sprayer to stain that, the kind folks use to spray insects..........
  18. Thanks, guys! Daniel, it's a really good kit, detailed but not overly complicated...... I've got the chassis done. A good guy here sent me the BBS wheels, which were black with the red outer rim. I brushed on a bit of Elmer's glue to act as a mask over the red trim that I wanted to keep, then sprayed them aluminum.... and a final test fit before I start the final assembly! I had to shave a bit where the body has to slip over the exhaust manifolds and little adjustments here and there.... Still need to figure out how to make a mask to paint the trim around the glass, and button up some things..... Thanks and comment freely........
  19. Thanks a Bunch, Guys! Charlie, I had an '83 V6 T-Bird when I was 16.... It rode better and was something different from the Mustang that everyone else wanted. The inserts on the seats is just brushed-on craft paint from Apple Barrel called "Flamenco Red"..... Nigel, I'm not sure that the nose HAS to be joined on last, but that's what the instructions call for......... It's tedious enough that it stalled this a bit until I can manage a clean way to do it...... I don't think you could place the headlight buckets if the nose was joined to the body, tho..... Thanks, David!
  20. This little car has the potential to be quite the "pocket rocket"! They took a Mini Cooper, Acura DOHC engine, and CRV AWD running gear and "kit-bashed" it all together.... https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/cto/d/pasadena-1966-awd-vtec-mini-cooper/7143095894.html Here's a couple pics....
  21. Is it a coat, a bar, a boat, a car? Found this this morning.... it's on a Ford van chassis....... Here's the ad..... https://myrtlebeach.craigslist.org/cto/d/roswell-the-boatcar-showcar-street-legal/7140025778.html
  22. I'm sorry that the Rustoleum clear didn't work out for you, Snake...... You can still use it, just not over enamels apparently.........
  23. Not sure how to do a screen shot, but pics would be a good idea! How about the Ultimate in Bro-Dozers? Here's the link to the ad..... https://fayetteville.craigslist.org/cto/d/providence-2004-f250-powerstroke/7138376616.html
  24. I've done one of these threads in the past, and it was pretty popular, so I thought it okay to do another........ First up, a Porsche powered VW notch back...... https://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/d/bisbee-1965-vw-notch-back-porsche-6cyl/7140462517.html This one fits into the "cool" category
  25. Thank You, Anton! I built this kit when I was in my late teens, the same problem I had then I still have, and that's with the decals..... The project budget didn't allow for any decal solutions, so I'm having to work without. They are two separate stripes, not together as one decal. To make sure that I could get them half-way parallel, I coated the hood and nose decals with lacquer clear, thus making them one decal..... At a later time I can come back with a setting solution (hopefully) and fix those on the bumper..... And I thought I would show a mock-up of what this beast is going to look like! Still have to polish the body, and get started on the chassis...... Thanks!
