  1. Thanks for all the responses, guys.... I've ordered the 1/16 Firebird so I can see how a large scale kit builds. It will be my first, then I'll order the Thunderbird next...... The plan is to use the aluminum slots on the T/A and find something custom for the T-Bird. 3Dscaleparts does have some nice stuff, I'll probably try to get some wheels from them.......
  2. I looked at the site and Instagram..... man, he has some NICE stuff! There is available a set of 1/16 Astro supremes with white-wall tires that's just beautiful.......
  3. I've wanted one of these since they first made their debut, this one is supercharged and immaculate........ Here's it's link! https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/d/van-nuys-supercharged-1996-nsx/7161142696.html
  4. Those are good suggestions, Man. I'm not really familiar with the accessories in the larger kits, this will be my first big scale auto. I did notice that one of the Minicraft hot rod kits come with chrome steel wheels and whitewalls, I might try looking for a set of them........
  5. Hello, Guys.... I have a build in mind using the soon to be released '57 T-Bird big scale kit. I would love to have some specific parts for this project, but it seems the only way to get them would be have them printed. I am wanting chrome reverse wheels, appletons, and lake pipes for a mild custom in 1/16.... Would it be possible to find files of these things in a smaller scale and have them sized up? Who would I contact about making files if none exist? Just kinda thinking aloud and brainstorming right now, but it would be very cool to be able to get these parts. I maybe could scratch up some lake pipes, and possibly the spot lights, but the wheels would need to be printed, I guess....... Thanks for any help!
  6. I am really diggin' this mild custom '41 Chevy...... Here's the link.... https://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst/cto/d/san-ysidro-1941-custom-chevy-coupe/7158333555.html
  7. I've mentioned these guys elsewhere, it's the Claypool Lennen Delirium....... This one is pretty obscure, but maybe not to those who frequent this thread.
  8. Thanks, fellas! Anyone who has this kit or is looking to get one, don't worry about bleed-thru from the red plastic. I used all hot DupliColor products and didn't have any issues.......
  9. Thanks a bunch, fellas! I had been on a Viper kick since I have one on the Gran Turismo video game......... Had to build one, of course!
  10. Thanks, Carl Buddy!
  11. Why don't they make all gasoline to where it produces less emissions? There's a filling station here where they sell Amoco gas, and the high-test stuff is clear. There's a little window in the nozzle that you can see it going thru....... It has to burn cleaner than the lower octane stuff?
  12. Posts like that keep a topic going..... There was a cartoon series called "Cowboy Bebop", and that's exactly the premise. They were a group of bounty hunters in space. It was an adult cartoon, and probably the most successful Japanese franchise, although it was short lived....... they only did 26 episodes.
  13. Mr. Daniels grew up right in the general area where I live.... he used to sit in front of a local grocery store about 6 or 8 miles from here when he was a young man and play the fiddle....
  14. and it's facing the wrong way! Didn't a builder here build the Metropolitan?
  15. I LIKE these little cars! Never driven a Miata, but I know Mazda makes pretty tough stuff. I got 250K miles out of a little Mazda hatch back. Weren't these cars kinda based on a Lotus Elan?
  16. If you look at what state it's from, that should explain everything.........
  17. Here's a cool one! Fox chassis Ford with a Coyote 5.0 and 6 speed transmission..... It looks pretty well sorted, too. Here's the ad's link.... https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/cto/d/pasadena-90-mustang-coyote-lx/7152092327.html
