I thought it would be cool if we could show how each of us have grown as builders.... This Monte Carlo was built right after I joined the forum in 2012. I thought I had really done something making the headlight covers! This '48 Ford was built in 2017.... Please feel free to show how you have progressed as a builder...... Thanks!

That color wouldn't look bad at all with the red tail stripe, and maybe some redline tires....... I wouldn't put a red interior in it, though. That might be a bit much......

The color you've painted this one looks more silver-gray maybe? Red stripe and interior would compliment it well..... This car is both silver and gray and the red is a good accent for it.

For me, it's the Thunderbird! I also like every year Impala and Monte Carlo. The T-Birds have always floated my boat, tho. My Favorite Birds are the aerocoupes of '83-'88. Something along these lines would suit me perfect..... Pre face-lift and Post face-lift

The Dirty Donny version is molded in orange, if that makes a difference to you....

This is looking really good...... What time period were you basing the build on? I ask because there was a time when the elongated Cadillac taillights were popular, and I think they would look good here.....

I don't know how to post a link, but The Cardigans did a cover of "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. Kind of Surreal with the lyrics being sung in her soft voice.... Fu Manchu has covered BOC's "Godzilla" too, it's pretty good. I have a playlist on Napster that's nothing but covers...

The interior is done.... I've misplaced the pedals, tho...... The metal parts are the body color, the seats and floor are Folk Art acrylic........ Thanks for looking, any constructive input is welcome.....

Extreme 4X4 was her first show when She was fresh out of Wyotech after graduating at the top of Her class. I don't think She was married to that guy (Ian, I think his name was?) Such a cool chick, I'm going to miss Her being here.......

What about the insect sized "robots" that the guv'ment uses for spying purposes?

A nice, slick, shiny paint job is a Lot of work, but to me it's the most rewarding aspect of model building...... Couple of years later, and this is still one of my favorites...

Hey, guys.... Sometimes I run across the need for a clear that can be applied with a paint brush. Is there such a thing? Thanks....

Cool...... Final mock-up........ just need to finish some small parts, then it's on to assembly.

Decals done....

Was able to get my paint polished today...... next I'll try to apply the scallop decals.

Thanks,, Bruce man! It's actually just dark blue.... Gotta love fast drying lacquers...... from primer going on to the clear drying was about 4.5 or 5 hours total......
