They looked so good I thought they might be printed or something..........

I've pretty much remedied that pesky divot in the roof of the Starliner....... I cut a hole about the size of a half-dollar in the cardboard and made a pass of primer through it. Then I made the hole larger and made another spray pass with the primer. Finally, I cut the hole roughly the size of the roof, being careful not to fill the trim with primer...... After a bit of sanding, the divot is just about gone......

There was a short-lived TV show called 'Viper', the star car of course, was a Dodge Viper............ It had an armour setting called 'Defender' that looked like this........ and of course I can't mention TV cars without the Coyote X being brought up.........- 174 replies

Our very good friend Can-Con used a set of what I believe you'd like to find on a build in this topic....... I'm sure he wouldn't mind telling where he got them. He put bowties on the caps, but with the centers from the kit that Greg referenced above you'll be good!

Those are good! I really like the perspective on the roadster............ It looks East-Coast style, too, with the channel and wheel covers.........

Carpet kits for '66 and '67 Chargers have upwards of 20-some odd pieces..........

Amazon Women on the Moon was a pretty funny movie, even though it's something you'd see on Mystery Science Theater......

Very eclectic group of models........... The ol' Ford pickup is a stand-out for me! Which green? It's really a nice shade..................

Kits with sculpted interiors?

Hey, guys! I've been working on modifying the seats from an '09 Challenger for use in the Starliner.......... I guess I just wanted to get you all's opinion on how it's going so far. I had to make the package shelf and skirt for the bottom....... I'm going to have a pretty big gap between the seat and the door panel..... Not sure if I should let that slide or not. Once built up, it will look better. The wheel well looks okay there........ I'll fill that seam across the back before paint. So, what do you guys think? Will this pass for the 'vibe' I'm going for? -
Hey, guys........ Mr. Hoving of the CCC posted a group of Corvettes that had been painted by my hero, Mr. Watson, on the 'gram earlier. This pic of the best looking 'vette that I think I've ever seen was among the set....... Just wanted to share, figuring y'all would enjoy seeing it....... I hope it's okay to post! If you all have any kustom Corvette pics, please feel free to post them up!

What would YOU like to see as a model

They would HAVE to model the engine if they made a kit of those little cars........... That DOHC 4vpc four cylinder engine! -
Class designations of Mercedes' is how they differentiate between their models.........

Cars that grow on you as you get older.

I used to not really care for a Corvette........... Never had anything against them, just took a while for me to appreciate them. They're the all-American sports car, and the early astronauts really liked them! I especially like the cove-side C1s and the C2s.......... -

A friend of my Dad received a brand new '66 for a graduation present from his father...... He still has it, and completely restored it about 10 years ago. It's that nice green-gold color with a matching interior. When it came time to pick the tires for the build, he let Mom choose them...... She picked redlines! Pretty cool of her, I think......... -
Oh, lord........ He thought you were gonna leave him there! That, and some dogs find Santa a little scary.

You guys have any goals for next year, as far as building goes? I have two large scale kits that I promise myself I'll finish in the coming year....... One's the 1/16 '57 Corvette from MPC. It pretty much just needs the body painted and final fitment. The other is the 1/16 Porsche 906. I've got a decent start on it, the interior and engine are coming along........
