  1. With a half a tube of Testors glue from the '60s............
  2. No matter how skilled you may be a something, there will always be someone who is better.............
  3. I have a 1966 Carrera 6 Porsche kit here in 1/16.......... I looked for one of these for a few years until I was able to find one. It WAS still sealed inside! I've already started it, but some work I've done may get a do-over.....
  4. Yet another subject we need a modern tool of! This and the '57 Thunderbird as a Moebius level kit would suit me fine.........
  5. That's a pretty good size spider! These are what we have around here, it's called a Banana Spider.......... That's her a two o'clock, the exoskeleton she had just shed at 7..............
  6. I've been seeing a bat or two late in the day, around dusk........ Also, those huge spiders that we get here are back. I used to wonder why those animals that feed on bugs come around late in the year after the food source is gone, then I realized we don't have the bugs BECAUSE of the bats and spiders! Nature knows what it's doing...........
  7. Grounded to their room isn't the punishment it used to be, as that's where all their entertainment is......
  8. Hey, Lee man....... You might have to go into your TVs settings and change the aspect ratio........
  9. You didn't miss much...... It was kind of a cheesy show, along the same lines as the Dukes of Hazzard. The car was airborne as much as it was chased by cops..........
  10. There's a very similar saying that is in regards to your health...........
  11. Bill, Google knows that you live in the swamp, so it just gave you a suggestion on how to deal with the huge mosquitos you have there!
  12. It's a mixture of these two kits...............
  13. Hey, Pat! It's the hero car from an '80s TV show........ It's called the Coyote X.
  14. Deny a man a fish, starve him for a day...... deny a man his fishing pole, starve him for a lifetime..........
  15. Do you mean the 'runnin' around like a headless chicken' part, or the 'axe wielding mad man' part?
  16. I built this several years ago...... I always liked the Headless Horseman story as a kid ( The Legend of Sleepy Hollow ) so when this kit was issued a few years back, I grabbed one up..... The horse is DupliColor primer, I thought it had a nice finish to represent a sweaty horse. Pretty much everything else was craft paints and such. You have the option of an axe or a sword for the weapon in his hand, I chose the axe as it's more menacing!
  17. The pics with the flag and the turkey are kind of amusing, since Ben Franklin wanted our National bird to be the wild turkey!
  18. Dice facets opposite each other always add up to seven.............
  19. And another thing! One that's come to me a lot lately with all that goes on in my daily, 'You can't get blood from a garlic........'
  20. They're afraid (no, they Know) that the good person may 'have' something they don't...........
  21. That's pretty much me......... So much so, that some folks here call me 'Old School' as a nic-name.........
  22. This thing's coming right along! The speed parts on the engine (header, dual carbs, and such) were donated to the project by my Vdub lovin' friend.........If it weren't for him, our hero car here would have a stock engine. The decals worked like a new set, even though they were 30+ years old!
  23. I really like the '63 Plymouths! I believe one of the Model King kits has most of those drive train options. I had plans to combine the Johan '63 body with one of the Model King Plymouths to build a Max Wedge car, just haven't gotten everything needed.......... It's own kit Would be nice, though!
  24. I love these cove-sides......... Really sharp car! That first photo would make a nice jigsaw puzzle.......
