  1. Interest in cars has me looking at classifieds just to see what's out there...........
  2. I've got this kat that lives across the parking lot in the complex here......... He has three cars out front, all of which need special attention to start. One he has to jump the battery every time, one that always has a flat, and one he must talk to like it's Christine or something..... Anyways, the funny thing is, he's had the rear wheel off of his woman's car every day this week! He'll remove it, drive it up town to somewhere (maybe McDonalds? ), then come back and put it back on.......... I tell people that he is such a good mechanic, that his cars break down just to be worked on!
  3. That's something that I really enjoy seeing, a factory-looking but larger diameter wheel! The Magnum 500s look really nice exaggerated............. and it's something besides a torq-thrust or Cragar!
  4. That green Citroen SM is something nice.............
  5. Roger did another kitbash that I've always liked............ I was looking through his profile to find the link......Man, he really has left a very creative, clean, and classy legacy here! We really are at a loss............
  6. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this car...........
  7. Positions of the Farmer Sutra include the tractor factor and the acre shaker..........
  8. More progress on the chassis! There's still a few small parts to go, but I kinda needed to mount the engine to make it easier to handle...... I've already made a couple mistakes, I'll just have to try to catch things early enough to fix them.......
  9. Canada is pretty much just like the US, only more polite!
  10. Milk and brownies does sound good, unfortunately all that I have here is some donut sticks.............
  11. I really enjoy seeing this brand of car, but they kind of started getting away from themselves around the e46 or so..... One of my favorite cars ever would be an e38 7 series!
  12. 80s and 90s G-body GM cars squatted in the rear, usually fitted with Centerline wheels and white letter tires........... I can't find any pics of an example, I guess that shows how dated that look is!
  13. You're probably aware of this, 'pulled pork' in the 'South is called 'barbecue'........... Barbecue is a verb most everywhere else! There's a show on PBS that is this one guy going around trying all the BBQ restaurants in NC..........
  14. A grilled ham and cheese, with pepper jack and hickory smoked ham on honey wheat bread 'fried' with real butter..........
  15. Got some good news regarding my wrist! They don't see where I'll need surgery....... Last time I went they were saying a 50/50 chance that I would. So, in another four weeks they'll remove the cast and set me up with a splint.......
  16. Flu symptoms is what I evidently avoided by taking an Alka Seltzer after being in the ER a few weeks back............ (I won't leave you with 'ago'...........)
  17. Went to an appointment in a larger town...... Saw a Ford GT (the 20 year old one) pulling into a fast food joint. Yellow with black stripes......
  18. Boy, are there gonna be a Bunch of ads on the forum now..........
  19. Guys, I have found a plastic axle from an old AMT kit, maybe the Gas Man '49 Ford? Anyways, progress is being made, hopefully I can post what I have done later today! I was just wanting to build this with all it's original pieces.......
  20. Kinda like the real car? LoL! I always liked the Avanti......
  21. One would have to think that your engine ran extra cool that day.........
  22. Thanks for the advice, guys....... Most likely I'll just use a scrap piece of sprue or something to mount the wheels......... There is a decal sheet, at least in this issue! More than likely I won't use them though........
  23. Just a little more progress, fellas........ The frame was primed and painted, and once that dried I dry-brushed a bit of silver all over it. Also got the basic engine painted! I'm having to kinda hold off on putting the front suspension together, as I'm missing the little metal spindle posts that hold on the front wheels........ Also I am in need of the long metal axle for the rear. Does anyone have these that they might not need? Here's a pic of the part for the front wheels....... Anyways, that's what I have done today.......
  24. It could be that he doesn't have that 'home field advantage' out on a walk.....
  25. Yea, he kinda knows that he screwed up........ You can't really punish them after the fact, though. They more less need to be caught in the act. You can see he's a little ashamed in the pic!
