  1. Down yonder on the Chattahoochie, it evidently gets hotter than the hoochie-coochie...........
  2. Hello, guys! Sorry to bother y'all again, but I have finally found a chassis for the ol' Dodge I'm working on...... The only thing is, the front axle is a dropped axle. The frame is from the '55 Chevy street machine kit. The axle has too much drop and is sitting on the ground. I was told the Cameo pickup most likely had a stock axle for the front, but I don't have one to reference...... The pic shows my problem........ So, does anyone know for certain that the Cameo axle is what I need? It can't be a straight axle, as that would raise it too much......
  3. The rear bumper will compliment the fins quite nicely! This is looking really cool, Les......... I think the rectangle headlights will be the way to go......
  4. The full Supermoon we're having was pretty spectacular last night.......... Had perfectly clear skies to see it.
  5. So do I........ Once in highschool art class, I wanted to build a kit as a project. The teacher said, "There's nothing creative about just building a model kit"........
  6. I had trouble with the same thing when I built mine, Mike.......... The kit is made to where you have to put the buckets in the front fascia before it's attached to the body. Once the fascia is on, then on go the lenses.......... Lots of opportunity to make a glue-bomb mess!
  7. Mike man! Tell me that you've built, or at least plan to build, a replica of your Turbo Coupe.......... It's a really good kit!
  8. You, Bill, are very wise..............
  9. Sounds like Bender from the show Futurama............
  10. I think before spam, there was this meat product called Treet....... My Mom used to cut the Treet up into chunks and brown it, then mix it into an egg noodle and cream-of-chicken soup mixture for us kids..... It was quite good!
  11. Reading around on this wonderful and very inspiring forum, I notice that most kit requests are for cars that, maybe, that person grew up with, or a car they may have owned in the past......... Some guys, however, ask for things like hyper cars and such, the types of cars that you'll usually only see on television. I like both..... cars that interest me are of the type that I know some about, AND those that I may never meet in person. In fact, I'm working on both a Coyote X replica (from the old TV show), and a Dodge pickup that resembles one I used to own........... I'll never be around a genuine Coyote X (I think there's only one 'beauty' car left), but the ol' pickup I'm pretty familiar with.......
  12. WolfMother! Good band............
  13. The D100 I used to own, the fuel tank was right behind the seat! You could hear it sloshing around behind you..........
  14. Carl, man.... I just saw him make a few posts.
  15. Themselves, those are gnomes, and that is a hobbit.........
  16. Went to the local library today........... The Hawking book may be a bit over my head, but I always enjoy learning. Always good to get out of my apartment, too..........
  17. Isn't the top one one of Madonna's bras?
  18. Had half a New York strip and a couple premade frozen stuffed potato skins......... I love beef, but I only eat steak about twice a month. The potatoes are from Farmrich, and have cheddar and bacon on 'em. Some Rocky Road icecream for afterwards..........
  19. Say it again then! (LoL)
  20. So, we have a water main access beside my apt building...... Some kind of main valve. It's been uncovered for the longest time, until one of the tenants complained that it was a hazard. Our maintenance guy in his infinite wisdom thought he could just put a cover on it and all be well....... Here's what he did......... It looks like a legitimate fix at first. The hole is covered, all is well........ or is it? The screws you see don't go into anything! If someone were to trip over this and flip that lid, they would end up impaled on those screws! It's more of a hazard now than it was before he 'fixed' it.........
  21. 'Gadzooks' is 1950's vernacular......
  22. That looks Super realistic! Especially the bare metal, exhaust and such......
  23. I've always liked the Stutz.......... I believe there were a few variants!
  24. Bike myself across the country I would, for a chance to see the Roach Coach in person........
  25. Movies like Monsters Inc. that are done with CGI are fun to watch baked.........
