What Did You Have for Dinner?
JollySipper replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
The rest of my steak from last night with a stuffed bell pepper from a couple days ago.......... -
Persons of higher intellect than myself could come up with a better sentence than this one...........

There was even a Jeep TJ made for a while.................... How cool is that?

This kid, one of the newer neighbors, was harassing me with a darn RC toy from his second story window......... I kinda tripped and caught myself with my hand. It's just one of the smaller bones in my wrist, but it's one that will be tricky to get to heal properly........
-
Well, guys........ My building is gonna be a bit curbed for the next six weeks or so, at least until I get this cast on my right wrist taken off. Gravity is a beeyotch, and pavement unforgiving.........
-
Welding is fun to watch someone do, especially if they know what they're doing............

I really hope this is okay to add........ Roger was absent from the forums some time back, seems like he didn't post for maybe two or three years. When he did come back this last time, I sent him a PM saying 'Welcome Back' and 'We Missed You'....... I was so glad that he was back. He responded, and you could just about hear the enthusiasm in his text! He was soooooo glad to be back! You could tell that he missed the forums as much as we did/will him..........

What did you see on the road today?
JollySipper replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
That's got to be a rare car....... I don't think I've ever seen one! It would make for a cool kustom, too......... -
Mr. Downey also has good taste in cars........ Here's a link to an article about his e34-powered e9 restomod! https://www.topgear.com/car-news/retro/behold-robert-downey-jrs-m5-powered-bmw-30-cs

The hammy is starting to be more active, kinda getting out of the 'sleep all day' winter habit some....... He's in his ball right now.... Here's the most recent pic of the little scamp.

Close match to this green in an aerosol?
JollySipper replied to JollySipper's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
That's cool! Hopefully it will stand up to the clear I want to use......... If not, I'll have to use the DupliColor 1K clear, which you can use over pretty much anything. -
Breakfast of Champions............

Thank you all for the comments/suggestions! Looking around online, I found this Krylon paint that I may purchase here soon....... I'm working on something right now that I want to have a green interior. If I like the shade enough, it will get used on what I intend to paint this green........... It's called Woodland Light Green. It being Krylon, I'll need to do some compatibility tests before I use it on anything.......... -

I'm pretty sure they're on the same circuit, Bill..... They're like four feet apart. That doesn't mean anything in these apartments, though. A neighbor of mine had a GFI plug trip in her bathroom, and it killed power to the all-weather outlet on her front porch!
-
Guys, I just had a quick question for you all...... On a GFI protected circuit, will one GFI outlet protect the whole circuit? I ask because I have an outlet on either side of my kitchen sink. One is the GFI, the other is a regular plug........ The regular plug runs my microwave, the GFI one is never used..... Should they both be the safety plugs?

What is your NUMBER 1 favorite movie car
JollySipper replied to Thedragsterdude's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
There was a VERY short lived TV show that was a spin-off of Smokey and the Bandit......... The hero car in it was a Dodge Stealth! I've always liked those, and their sister car the 3000GT.......... V6, twin turbo on some, AWD, what's not to like?- 174 replies

A baked potato with real butter, salt, pepper, and Italian dressing......... It's good! Bill, you're using the dry oats, like old school? I can get you a recipe for nobake cookies, made with oats, peanut butter, and real cocoa...... Mom makes them a couple times a year........ -

Which Bond film had the Retrobird Thunderbird featured? I like those cars, but they don't really fit the 'Bond' persona..........- 174 replies
