This is looking good! I tried this kit as my first ship model, but failed it...... It did prepare me for my second attempt at a ship, the Captain Kidd ship from Lindberg, which I was able to finish (after about a year working on it)........ Taking a break is good sometimes, gives you a fresh perspective when you go back to it!

More kits are sold by their box art than by the contents of that box, I would wager..........

Trippy-looking tie-dyed skies and colorful tracers is something I witnessed over 20 years ago, but can recall it pretty vividly...........

Accent colors incorporated into your build can either be complimentary to the main body color, or in high contrast............

Racers usually appreciate wooden shift-knobs too, as they slide around in your palm......

Maybe not much help, but I believe the Munster's Coach and Dragula have lanterns for headlights....... Does anyone have those kits to be able to make certain?

Yea, they started to lose certain aesthetics around the e46 or so. That, and they started to put too many gadgets on their cars! Who needs variable-ratio electronically assisted power steering? or for the rear headrests to lower when you go into reverse?
