Right about now is when I tell Lee that 'You got that right' is a song by Lynyrd Skynyrd.........
-
Just wanted to show that I've now got everything in primer! I'll maybe sand everything this evening, then possibly spray some paint tomorrow..... We'll see! Thanks for letting me post, fellas!

Yogurt is really good for you, and some are very good tasting......

"Right about now, the funk's, oh brother..... Check it out now, the funk's, oh brother"

Hey, Guys! Just wanted to show you all how I dealt with the seams on this body......... I've done this before on a few small seams and it turned out pretty good. I just used some pva glue to fill 'em. Kinda like what a house painter would use caulk for! I'll let this dry for some time, and I'm sure it will shrink, so I may have to go back over the worst of it......

Thing 1 and Thing 2 were characters in a book by Dr. Seuss.......

Another automobile drawing! I really wish that there was a drawing program that let you draw from scratch the way MS Paint does......... I'll maybe add a background to this.

Pets out of hounds is usually a great idea, even though they can be a bit stubborn....

review of '57 T-Bird, 1/25 scale, w/ photos
JollySipper replied to fiatboy's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I wonder what all would be needed to build a more detailed model of this kit....... The Y-block could come from the Revell '57 Ford, but what about a more detailed chassis? Maybe shorten the chassis from the same '57 Ford? -
Sits for treats was pretty much the only trick my ol' dog Callie would do......

Other model car forums

You mean...... There's other forums? Just kidding..... Really though, as good as this forum is, there's really no reason to be anywhere else. Instagram has a Bunch of modellers there, noone has mentioned it..... -
Angry is something a true ninja master never let's himself get......

Guys, I guess she's eaten her mate! I don't see him anywhere........

What you might could try is to get a sheet of foil and mask with it.... What I generally do is cut the foil while it's still on the sheet with a straight edge and a fresh blade. When you lift the foil off of the sheet, you'll have a perfectly straight piece..... Then just place the foil along the window trim. You can get SOME bend with a strip of foil. The thinner the strip, the more you can curve it...... Then just paint your trim, and remove the foil! oh, welcome to the forum!

Coming along right nicely...... Nice color! I wonder if there's any way Round2 could "fix" this kit and it's fitment issues, kinda like Lindberg correcting the cowl on the '61 Impala?

Subject comparison between two radically different objects is called a juxtaposition, I believe.....

Played some Gran Turismo just now, which is always relaxing.......

I use the DupliColor 1K clear.... right from the can, though. It's kind of a bear to work with! Every time I've had to stick foil or tape to it, it wants to lift off the paint..... Could just be me, but it's happened several times. At over $20 a can, I could be getting two cans of Tamiya clear and get better results. I'm thinking about dumping some of the DC stuff, tho (not their primer, it's still a good product...) and just switching to hobby paints, myself!

That's a good pic...... If I see a Black Widow, I get rid of them! We have a bunch of kids and dogs here in the complex. Neither of those pay any attention to spiders and could get bitten....

Most detailed model?
JollySipper replied to Scott8950's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I was hoping that you would chime in, Steven! The detail that goes into your builds looks so natural and in scale....... I was curious as to your view on the subject. You're right, too, in the fact that the better kit you start with, the better the end results are. -
Yea, sorry about that, Carl man.... We'll get this going in the right direction now, though! Progress for now is primer on everything except the fenders and body. I need to do some putty on those still. I'll wait to spray any color coats until I can do them all the same day........

or Their status symbol! ALL dogs are good, man. They just have bad owners.........

Thank you, Sir! The red really is a nice color for that tone of interior color. I have built this little custom which I painted blue with the red for the inside. Turned out really nice..... The green I'm using here just wasn't vibing right.......
-
Guys, I ended up having to change the color of the interior...... The red didn't look as nice against this teal as I was hoping it would. So for today's progress, the dash is done and I've repainted the interior!

That's a right good size catfish! You gonna fillet 'em up?
